Internet rumors: Putin suffered a stroke and is in a coma; Medvedev takes control in Russia

LATEST - Russia: Vladimir Putin is said to have baby in Switzerland

The internet is ablaze with rumors and concerns about the health of Russian President Vladimir Putin since he's not been seen in public since March 5th:

Vladimir Putin’s spokesman has been forced to deny that the 62-year-old president is in poor health after a string of meetings were canceled and the Kremlin published old photographs to claim work was proceeding as usual.

Concerns over Putin’s well-being were first raised earlier this week when he postponed a trip to Kazakhstan for talks with the country’s president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko. A source in the Kazakh government told Reuters that the visit was canceled because Putin had fallen ill.

Putin has not been seen in public since a meeting and press conference with Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi on 5 March, where he appeared healthy.

“There’s no need to worry, everything is fine,” Peskov told the radio station Ekho Moskvy when asked about the leader’s health. He said Putin is “constantly in meetings, but they are not all public”, adding that the business at hand was “very stressful” because of the crises he is dealing with.

The Russian president was slated to talk with officials from Georgia’s breakaway republic of South Ossetia on Wednesday, but the meeting was reportedly canceled at the last minute. He also failed to attend an annual meeting with officers of the Federal Security Service on Thursday, although Peskov said he hadn’t been planning to attend this year. Sources close to the Kremlin reportedly told RBK newspaper that the governor of the Yamal-Nenets region hadn’t met with Putin on Tuesday, even though the presidential website said he had.

According to sources of Igor Stepanov, a well-known Russian blogger and political activist, Putin is alive but in an induced coma after a severe stroke. The Russian President has been under extensive stress recently due to conflicts among intelligence agencies around him. At the moment, these conflicts continue and decision-making in the Kremlin is partially paralyzed.

Respected Ukrainian blogger Vitaly Kim said that, according to his sources, all power in the Kremlin is now in the hands of Prime Minister Medvedev, including management of the armed forces. Military helicopters have been seen landing on government buildings in central Moscow including the Kremlin and the Lubyanka FSB headquarters. Here's some video from Moscow today:

Unconfirmed Russian Internet rumors that Vladimir Putin is dead

DEBKAfile reports that Russian websitesThursday morning began running unconfirmed reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin had suddenly died. This has not been confirmed by any official in Moscow. But a short announcement of Putin’s death was seen briefly on Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s website early Thursday, only to be removed after 20 minutes. According to officials in Moscow, Putin was expected in Kazakhstan Thursday for meetings with its leaders, but failed to turn up.

Russkiy Monitor has gone ahead and published an email received by the editorial office claiming that Putin had a stroke. The Interpreter has a translation:

A letter arrived in the electronic email box of Russkiy Monitor signed by an anonymous official of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Department of Presidential Affairs in Moscow, in which he reported that among the patients of this elite Moscow hospital, where the top leadership of the Russian Federation are registered, there were rumors that Vladimir Putin was diagnosed several days ago with an ischemic stroke. Even so, the source said that the president was not hospitalized directly at the Central Clinical Hospital.

The editorial board of Russian Monitor cannot confirm or deny the information which might very well be false, however we must note the fact that the president has not been seen in public since last week, his meeting with the presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan was unexpectedly cancelled. Observers note that since Putin has been in power, nothing of this sort has occurred.

The purported Moscow subway bombings of three days ago may be setting the stage for Russian military action in the Caucasus and, most important, another invasion of "Western-backed" Georgia:

The head of Russia’s Security Council accused Georgia today of backing terrorism in the North Caucasus and said that it could be involved in the Moscow Metro bombing.

As Moscow held the first funerals for victims of the attack, Nikolai Patrushev alleged that members of Georgia’s special services had links with terrorist groups in the region and said that investigators would look for evidence of their involvement in the double suicide-bombing that killed 39 people on the Metro.

Mr Patrushev, the former director of the Federal Security Service, the successor to the Soviet-era KGB, singled out Georgia and its pro-Western President Mikheil Saakashvili after being asked in an interview about possible foreign involvement in the terror attack.

“All theories have to be checked. For example, there is Georgia and the leader of that state, Saakashvili, whose behaviour is unpredictable,” Mr Patrushev told the Kommersant newspaper.

“He has already unleashed war once. It is possible that he may unleash it again. We have had information that individual members of Georgian special forces support contacts with terrorist organisations in the Russian North Caucasus. We must check this also in relation to the acts of terror in Moscow.”

As I pointed out in 2008, Russia's invasion of Georgia that year was part of some sort of strategic deception that ultimate could lead to a military confrontation between Russia and NATO. This might be what is about to play out.

That the reported Moscow bombings on Monday were staged appears increasingly probable as it has now been 72 hours and still I'm yet to find what I would deem to be authentic, independent cell phone images and videos from some of what should have been thousands of Muscovites caught up in the rush hour mayhem.

For those who have a hard time comprehending how such an incident could be staged, you need to review some history.

For those who have any doubt of how effective Russian strategic deception is on manipulating Western thought, you need to consider who somehow became the U.S. Commander and Chief.

This world is currently literally possessed by the Devil IMHO.

Moscow Subway Bombings - More Lies from Lubyanka

Why do people believe the nonsensical lies of the KGB/FSB (or whatever the heck they want to call themselves at any given historical point)?

The latest historical deception is the reported bombing of subway trains in Moscow yesterday with the primary attack occurring at the Lubyanka Square station under the headquarters of the KGB/FSB.

Within an hour or so of the purported double bombings in Moscow, there was an accurate count on the number of dead. Within several hours the whole case had been solved and Chechen "Black Widow" female suicide bombers were blamed. By late-afternoon in Russia the whole scene had been cleaned and the subways were operating again. What's more, Russian President Medvedev appeared in a photo-op at the scene of the bombing for a memorial to the fallen in time for the evening news:



Are you freegin kidding me?

I intentionally held back from posting this blog for 24 hours because I wanted to see if authentic independent cell phone videos and pictures would emerge on the internet showing carnage and chaos consistent with the reported attacks, i.e., 39 people killed and hundreds injured. After all, in the Moscow subway system there would have been thousands of witnesses, many with camera-enabled cell phones. Yet, all that has come out are the videos and images put out by RussiaToday, the English-speaking Russian news source that feeds endless misinformation to the West:



As usual, Western media has regurgitated the lies out of Lubyanka (literally in this case) without an ounce of critical judgment and, with even less suspicion, the deception is believed by the masses. The system of strategic deception has become so streamlined, Russia's intelligence services are getting somewhat sloppy IMHO. This story would hardly rate as a B-grade movie put together by some college kids with a smoke bomb, a bucket of cow's blood and a few dozen buddies willing to act as victims and emergency personnel.

In the past the KGB/FSB has been known to commit acts of truly violent terror against the Russian people for purposes of strategic disinformation like the 1999 apartment bombings in southern Russia. Alexander Litvinenko wrote a book about this that he paid for with his life after he was assassinated by Russian intelligence officers with Polonium:



What's tragic and sad is I can point out to you all the endless BS being fed to the world by the Kremlin and STILL NO ONE SEEMS TO GET IT.

At what point do people start to figure out they are being lied to by the most evil force in human history? When mushroom clouds are climbing over nearby cities? What the heck is wrong with everybody? Has everyone lost the capacity for critical reasoning in the face of the Evil One?
