Five years ago today, Neda Agha-Soltan (نِدا آقا سُلطان) was shot dead in the streets of Tehran by Basij militia. Hear her calling to free Iran in the song I kompozed dedicated to her martyrdom:

It was inspired by the tragic death of Neda Agha-Soltan (نِدا آقا سُلطان) who was murdered by soldiers of the mullah's now in power in Tehran who to this day continue to repress the freedom-loving Iranian people. So I just spouted off in a forum regarding what I deem to be the misled, disoriented "values" that prevail in modern America. I was being maligned, rightly so, for the seemingly endless inaccurate predictions of "crashes" and "war" I've been promulgating in this blog and on the internet for so very, very long. Because of this foolishness on my own part, all of what I'm arguing is to be dismissed out of hand. So be it. I've simply been seeking to read the writing on the wall and the "spirit of truth" is that America has destroyed itself, it's just a matter of when reality hits at this point.
Jeepers, never thought that only the communists had thought of sharing wealth. Why wasn't that told to me in preschool as I was being taught such values?
As for becoming a banker, or a brain surgeon, or a New York Yankee relief pitcher, or an oil tycoon inheritor, or a paraplegic, or a severely autistic child, etc., the five most misleading words in America's Declaration of Independence are: "All men are created equal."
Really?
And if not, then what?
Shall we still pursue an enrichment of the fittest competitive society where you are free to be a billionaire and ignore those free to starve and freeze to death on a sidewalk because of some sort of twisted secularized ideals of liberty far removed from the Judeo-Christian values meant to be an essential part of our society?
Modern Americans want all the "independence" they can have in terms of independence from responsibility to others or society as-a-whole while this is grossly out of accord with the sharing and sacrifices necessary for liberty to succeed.
One of my favorite quotes is from William Penn: "Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants."
This really captures the essence of our situation. The Bible is replete with tales of God's people cycling through being blessed with freedom and prosperity, becoming self-absorbed and going against God's will and then being delivered into evil and bondage. Where do you think modern America fits thereof?
It is telltale how valued and successful folk like myself are that have been seeking to spell out where we're at and where we'll end up. Nobody is interested. No one loves the truth. In fact, they could care less. Personal gratification is the priority and the needs of others, survival of America and well-being of the world overall is a nuisance if a consideration at all.
So when the missiles fly and the West is laid asunder, don't blame the "Old Enemy" so much as look in the mirror.

I just learned that my friend Fadel passed away. He suffered a stroke, likely brought on by his ongoing lack of proper medication and treatment.
Fadel was from Sierra Leone, a rather symbolic, small West African nation founded by freed slaves that has been made famous by films like Amistad and Blood Diamond (WATCH | Part 2), both movies I saw with him while he resided in America. (The province of Kenema in Sierra Leone, where Fadel was born and died, is the hub of diamond mining there. Think of how diamonds represent values and "love" in the West!)
Shortly after seeing Blood Diamond, Fadel returned to Sierra Leone in the hopes that he could use his training in developmental economics to help bring his nation back to life after the devastating civil war there. Alas, his vision was to no avail.
Quite frankly, I'm very upset and angered by Fadel's death. He was good soul caught in an all-too evil and unjust world IMHO.
His name literally means "faithful" and I tried my best to be a faithful friend and considered our relationship an ongoing personal trial for me to abide by the Golden Rule of loving and valuing others as myself. Whatever his needs were, I sought to place myself in his position and do for him as I would have wanted done for myself by a friend in my relatively advantaged position. Trying to care for him has been an incredible spiritual and financial challenge in my life and with his passing I'm sorry for failing him, but his seemingly insurmountable predicament and ongoing health problems finally caught up to him in his backward nation where quality medical care is virtually non-existent. He leaves behind his young son Adam, whom he loved dearly and is my namesake.
What I'm most sorry for, however, is the failings of everyone around me here in America where time and time again my efforts to help Fadel were met with cool indifference if not outright contempt by family, friends and fellow church members who couldn't see my reasoning in seeking to support this West African's needs. I was just being used by Fadel in their eyes, or so their self-justification has been for never helping me to help him. What a convenient mindset for those who live in the lap of luxury and material excess!

I talked to God last night and this AM it became clear to me. The bottom line is this in my view.
America is facing destruction at the hands of the forces of global tyranny. Self-censorship by those standing up for the truth empowers the enemies of liberty. They are served by this choice to close off TOL from the world's eyes IMHO.
Why was this decision made?
Fear of loss of money given the remote possibility that this sue-happy lawyer in Vegas might target this forum? If the issue were bandwidth cost and this was made clear, I among many others would pony up funds accordingly. I don't believe that's the issue. The issue is protection from being sued.
All I can do is point out this. I've sacrificed my life in the struggle for truth against the lies. I have two weeks of unemployment left, have had no health insurance coverage for two years and am at the very end of my own financial rope. I've devoted all my time to trying to get out the truth regarding the pursuit by the "Old Enemy" to destroy and defeat America and her allies, and much of that time and effort was focused in this forum in the past couple of years. Furthermore, over the last 20 years I've foregone family, career and the worldly gain almost all others are obsessed by since I realized that the future of the free world is imperiled as never before and NO ONE is doing ANYTHING to fight back, thus sealing our fate.
Are you beholden to and serve at the behest of Mammon? That's your prerogative as free creatures, but you are robbing the free world of its future in your blind devotion to a false god.
To serve God is to NOT SERVE MAMMON, particularly on historical occasions such as these End Times. What if God wants you to set aside your worldly concerns and sacrifice any devotion to Mammon in order to fight for Him? If so, where does that place those that have made this decision to shutoff TOL from the outside world?
You wealth might seem safe now, but your soul is not IMHO.

What is unfolding here is but a symptom of a far greater disease that has rotten the Tree of Liberty to its core such that it has withered and died around America and the free world.
