It was inspired by the tragic death of Neda Agha-Soltan (نِدا آقا سُلطان‎) who was murdered by soldiers of the mullah's now in power in Tehran who to this day continue to repress the freedom-loving Iranian people. The martyrdom of Neda, a name that means "calling" in Persian, is a calling on the Iranian people to rise up and overthrow the Islamic extremist tyrants now controlling their nation. URGENT WAR ALERT: Is Israel About To Strike Iran?

The world seems relatively calm at the current juncture and I hope and pray it remains this way.

However, based upon my form of analysis of mass mood cycles and associated geopolitical events, I see that there's a possibility of an imminent global explosion. I pray that I'm wrong as usual, but I feel compelled to express the potential I see.

In recent posts I've been highlighting the potential for significant historical "panics" to strike in the autumn period.


In fact, the window for mass panics is quite specific usually occurring into the end of the seventh lunar month on the Hebrew calendar, i.e., the month of Tishrei. As explained in my previous blog, the Hebrew calendar is running a lunar month early this year which pushes out the potential panic prone month to the eighth lunar month, Cheshvan. The key dates in the month tend to fall between the 25th and 28th days. In the award-winning article on the topic written by Chris Carolan, these are referred to as the "Dark Days" that witnessed the extreme panic climaxes in the 1929, 1987, 1997 and 2008 global financial crises.




As my work further noted, the highest DEFCON nuclear alerts in history also peaked during this period during the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and October 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War indicating this was the closest points in history the world ever came to global nuclear war.

As it stands there is no developing financial crisis and the possibility of a 1929/1987-style stock market crash seems very remote. But could there suddenly arise an unprecedented geopolitical crisis that involves the threat of global nuclear war? There is reason to believe so, although the possibility also seems remote.

For years Iran has been progressing toward the development of nuclear weapons under the hawkish eye of Israel. The Jewish state simply will not allow the mullahs in Tehran to build the means to follow through on their long-stated threat to annihilate the Jews. This point was highlighted in the recent address of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to the United Nations assembly:



In the wake of that potentially final warning to the world that Israel will not stand by for a nuclear armed Iran, the Institute for Science and International Security released on October 24th an alarming report indicating the Iran may have a breakout capability to produce a nuclear weapon within one month's time.

USA Today reported the Israeli response to this news:

A new report that says Iran may need as little as a month to produce enough uranium for a nuclear bomb is further evidence for why Israel will take military action before that happens, an Israeli defense official said Friday.

"We have made it crystal clear – in all possible forums, that Israel will not stand by and watch Iran develop weaponry that will put us, the entire Middle East and eventually the world, under an Iranian umbrella of terror," Danny Danon, Israel's deputy defense minister told USA TODAY.

Iran is developing and installing new and advanced centrifuges that enable Iran to enrich even low-enriched uranium to weapons grade uranium needed for nuclear weapons within weeks, Danon said.

"This speedy enrichment capability will make timely detection and effective response to an Iranian nuclear breakout increasingly difficult," he said.

"Breakout" refers to the time needed to convert low-enriched uranium to weapons-grade uranium. On Thursday, the Institute for Science and International Security issued a report stating that Iran could reach that breakout in as little as one month based in part on Iran's own revelations about its nuclear program.

"If they use all their centrifuges ... and their stockpiles of low- and medium-enriched uranium, that would take one to 1.6 months," said David Albright, president of the institute and a former inspector for the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency.

That Israel is preparing to take military action against Iran to stop its nuclear pursuits is buttressed by a very publicized recent military exercise with Greece that made clear the Israeli Air Force's capability to deliver a long-distance attack if so ordered:

In a display of muscle-flexing to Tehran ahead of nuclear talks between Iran and world powers, Israel made a rare announcement Thursday that its air force had conducted a series of drills in which fighter aircraft practiced midair refueling and a simulated strike on a distant target.

A video, unprecedentedly uploaded to YouTube by the IDF Thursday, shows F-15 and F-16 fighter jets refueling midair over the water. It was published shortly after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to a series of European TV interviewers, warning the EU not to ease sanctions against Iran. “When a murderous regime engages in soft diplomacy and uses calming words of peace, but nevertheless continues to acquire immense power — it must be stopped, immediately,” Netanyahu said.

An initial impression of the publicized exercise with Greece and Netanyahu's call at the U.N. to increase sanctions on Iran is that Israel is not planning any sort of imminent attack but is pursuing more concerted international pressure on Iran. However, this might be intentionally deceptive. If Israel was planning an imminent attack, they'd want Tehran to believe such is not the case.

So let's presume that Israel is planning an imminent strike against Iran, when would this most likely occur in the immediate future? This is where the phase of the moon and weather come into play. The odds are Israel would seek to conduct an air strike within five days of a new moon when the cover of darkness is optimal. The next new moon (which also happens to be a solar eclipse) will occur on November 3rd. As for weather, October 30th and 31st offer the clearest skies over Iran in the coming week.

Thus, if Israel is planning to exploit the November 3rd new moon darkness for an air strike on Iran, we are now in the window when this is most likely to occur. This so happens to coincide with the seasonal window that has witnessed the greatest panics in history; in this case Cheshvan 26-28 (October 30th to November 1st).

Again, I hope I'm wrong as usual, but I see enough here that I think a warning is warranted.

Dow 14000 & World War Three?

Today the DJIA closed above the psychologically important 14000 mark for the first time in five years, i.e., since the 2008 financial crisis hit:

We may be in a comparable situation to when the DJIA tested the 1000 mark just before the last major Arab-Israeli War in 1973 and when the Dow brushed up against the 3000 mark right before Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990:

I believe the logic I spelled out regarding "Dow 13000 and World War Three?" applies here all the same (minus seasonality):



In fact, what has formed is a rather ominous "diagonal triangle" that typically marks the end of a major upswing pattern in mass mood:

What's telling is that this Elliott Wave pattern has unfolded into the upper channel line of the rise in stock prices dating back to the Great Depression:

In a prophetic, religious context, think of this as representing the peak of Capitalism and Western Civilization, and the associated mass servitude, worship and "love" (valuation) of Mammon (wealth; greed). Indeed, this is well represented by America's modern-day "Golden Calf", the bronze Charging Bull statue by Wall Street:

[As to why Wall Street's mood swings in Elliott Wave fractal patterns and why seeming exogenous geopolitical shocks are connected to reversals from thousand mark psychological barriers in the DJIA, this is because history unfolds in a fractal pattern which implies that what we are collectively experiencing is holographic in nature. Stock index price patterns reflect the collective emotional response to history as it unfolds. What does this mean? Thus, I do not believe it is mere coincidence that just as we are topping around Dow 14K, there's news of an Israeli air-strike against Syria that might provoke a military response by Syria and/or Iran and/or Iran's proxy force of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon:

The presumed Israeli airstrike within Syrian territory on Wednesday has elicited threats of retaliation from both Syria and Iran. Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim Ali, quoted at al-Ahd, a Hezbollah-run news website, contended that his nation could make “a surprise decision to respond to the aggression of the Israeli warplanes,” adding that ”Syria is engaged in defending its sovereignty and its land.” In Iran, a deputy foreign minister was quoted by English-language Press TV as saying the “strike on Syria will have serious consequences for Tel Aviv.” He did not elaborate. With the seeming forfeiture of the Cold War by the Communist East, suddenly the once deceitful, untrustworthy "Evil Empire" became a friend of the West that could be trusted. The problem with this historical transformation, of course, is that lies only work when the victim believes they are true. Thus, by feigning the collapse of communism, the militaristic, totalitarian powers of the East were able to dupe the West and the rest of the world into believing their seemingly endless strategic lies as being true. Thus, Israel, America and the NATO powers are being successfully misled into total defeat:





Now why is it do you think that a false picture is being painted that America and the West are behind the insurgency in Syria?

From an article in the left-leaning UK Guardian, "William Hague confirms 'evidence' of Syrian chemical weapons: Foreign secretary says he has seen some proof that Assad's forces are preparing to launch chemical attack against rebels":

Amid speculation that the regime could be targeted with air strikes, Hague said the use of chemical weapons would be a "major change in situation".

Hague's words came amid claims from Russia, Syria's principal ally in the UN security council, that a series of leaks from the Pentagon and US state department about Assad's ability to deploy chemical weapons was being used by Obama to underpin threats of military action against his regime.

The claims have been met with incredulity by the Kremlin, which has suggested they are being used as a pretext to increase pressure on Assad and prepare for the use of force.

In other words, the Western powers are being setup as the imperialist, war-mongering bad guys that trigger World War Three. Yet the truth is that Russia has been setting up this whole apocalyptic scenario from the get-go.

Does this mean World War Three has begun?

Well....first off, let's get something straight. World War Three has been underway for years. The tragedy is that Western intelligence is so foolish they don't even realize the struggle has been underway.

In a recently published book, Behind the Desert Storm: A Secret Archive Stolen From the Kremlin, Russian exile Pavel Stroilov (who translated and edited Alexander Litvinenko’s book, Allegations) sheds new light on how Moscow's machinations have shaped the explosive Middle East tinderbox of today based upon his examination of 50,000 top-secret Kremlin documents he stole from the Gorbachev Foundation archives. From Claire Berlinski's insightful article, The Cold War’s Arab Spring, we read:

Stroilov’s book....challenges the conventional wisdom that Western colonialists are to blame for the chaos in the region. All of its major conflicts, he argues, were caused by Soviet expansionism. Terrorism and the rabid anti-Israeli animus of the Arab world were Soviet inspirations....The documents clearly suggest that many contemporary conflicts in the Middle East were fomented by the Soviet empire, particularly in the final years before its break-up. And the events he describes have had a significant impact upon the current state of the region...

In a recent, must read article for WorldNetDaily dubbed A New Cold War, Ion Pacepa, the highest-ranking Soviet bloc intelligence defector, more specifically spells out for the West what Russia has been up to in recent decades:

In 1972, I had a breakfast with then-KGB chairman Yury Andropov in Moscow. The Kremlin, he told me, had decided to transform Arab anti-Semitism into an anti-American doctrine for the whole Muslim world. The idea was to portray the United States as a war-mongering, Zionist country financed by Jewish money and run by a rapacious “Council of the Elders of Zion” (the KGB’s derisive epithet for the U.S. Congress) intent on transforming the rest of the world into a Jewish fiefdom. Thus, Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait and the subsequent military struggle between America and Saddam Hussein, the 9/11 attacks and subsequent War On Terror, the Arab Spring and emergence of a Muslim Brotherhood regime in Egypt, the ongoing insurgency in Syria, etc., etc., are all a product of Kremlin machinations to foment the violent hatred of the Muslim world against the West and vilify and isolate Israel and America on the world stage before our ultimate destruction. In other words, Israel, America and NATO are being setup as the fall guys for a nuclear third war that was ultimately planned and precipitated by the powers-that-be running Russia.

In this context, what the world has been witnessing in recent decades are the initial battles of World War Three before a final ultimate battle between East and West in which, borrowing a term from Ronald Reagan, the "Evil Empire" is planning to champion itself as the good guy and world savior (quite literally) while Israel, America and NATO are made out to be the "imperialist, Zionist" bad guys to blame for the coming holocaust of mass destruction.

"Today the Soviet system can no longer seriously strive toward the spectre of Communism - but at the same time it cannot yet abandon the grandeur of its tasks, for otherwise it would have to answer for fruitless sacrifices which are truly innumerable. Yet, the complete opposite is the case. Russia, China and the Arab powers have long been planning and conducting a third world war through which they hope to vanquish the West militarily, economically, politically and ideologically. The Kremlin is behind the ultimate historical act of premeditated mass deceit and mass murder.

So in the context of the case I'm presenting, has World War Three begun with Israel's newest conflict with Gaza?

Well, what can be argued is that we are now entering a far more dangerous and acute phase of a third world war that's been underway for decades already. Clearly, Israel's action in Gaza is likely to cement the emergent dominant worldview that the Jews are the belligerent bad guys that need to be dealt with militarily once and for all. The extremist Islamic regime in Egypt, chaos in Syria and Iran seemingly being pushed into a corner over its nuclear ambitions opens the way for an unexpected Arab/Islamic reaction to Israel's newest Gaza campaign, i.e., this time around a full-scale regional conflict in the Mideast may be set-off. This war, in turn, could well lead to the involvement of America and Russia on opposing sides and the use of weapons of mass destruction. Hence, the apocalyptic vision I experienced in February of 1991 that led me to uncover the global mass delusion I believe God has sent me into this world to dispel.

Let's hope and pray I'm wrong.

NUCLEAR WAR ALERT: Is Israel Preparing For All-Out War Next Week?!

As those few who follow this blog are aware, I'm a bit on edge at this time regarding the threat of World War Three.  Today there was news that suggests that Israel may be preparing for just such a scenario.  First there was news of Israel deploying Patriot missiles atop Mount Carmel, seemingly to defend Haifa from missile attacks. Now there's news that Israel is planning to conduct a massive civil defense exercise that seems like perfect cover for putting necessary emergency services in place for all-out war next week.

In my September 25th blog, I highlighted how we were entering the season most prone for major global panics to occur.  In 1929 and 1987, this took the form of stock market crashes.  In 1962 and 1973, this took the form of geopolitical crises that brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. As examined in my thesis on Manic Depressive Man, I believe this pattern reveals an underlying "Global Bipolar Disorder" that is shaping human history.  What's more, it's possible this recurrent pattern is foreshadowing a future, nearly suicidal chapter of human history that might unfold during the "Fall".

In this light, my gravest concern is that the world will eventually share my "apocalyptic vision" of a global nuclear war that will begin with a chemical SCUD missile attack on Haifa, Israel.  Could this occur at the current historical juncture?  I'm afraid it's distinctly possible and, disturbingly, Israel seems to think it's possible as well.

My last blog noted news that Israel had placed Patriot missiles atop Mount Carmel overlooking the city of Haifa in northern Israel apparently in response to the Hezbollah's flight of an unmanned drone into Israeli territory last Saturday. This indicates that the IDF is concerned about the possibility of enemy missile strikes on Haifa in the near future.

While this story in and of itself is alarming, the news today of Israel's plan for a massive civil defense exercise, purportedly for an earthquake, is even more troubling.  According to IsraelNationalNews.com:

Israel is planning a huge emergency drill for next week amid speculation and fears that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will order a unilateral strike on Iranian uranium enrichment facilities. 

The drill tests the country’s ability to cope with an earthquake, and assumes hypothetical mass casualties of 7,000 dead, 70,000 wounded and 170,000 without a home. 

The drill will also include a scenario simulating a toxic chemical leak at the northern coastal port in Haifa. This is the first time a Home Front drill has dealt with a natural disaster scenario as opposed to a war scenario.

Here's what may be telltale.  Why is this "drill" being conducted as a response to an earthquake instead of as a war drill? Was a natural disaster selected as the purpose of the exercise in order to provide some sort of cover? If so, why? That the earthquake scenario involves such unprecedented casualties, i.e., 7000 dead and 70000 wounded, seems a tad odd for Israel which is rarely impacted by seismic disasters.  What's more, the inclusion of simulating a "toxic chemical leak" seems strange, although this would make good sense if the intent is to put emergency services in place to deal with a real world chemical missile barrage on Israel. In other words, this unprecedented Israeli 'Home Front drill' seems geared to have in place and ready-to-go the domestic emergency resources that would respond to retaliation by Iran, Hezbollah, Syria and/or Egypt in the event of an all-out Middle East war that could be triggered by an IDF strike on Iran's nuclear facilities or a like situation.

Buttressing the concern that Israel is about to go to war is news of another massive military exercise scheduled for next week. As the Jerusalem Post reported two days ago:

The US and Israel will commence the largest-ever joint air defense drill of its kind in Israel on October 21, an army source said on Tuesday.

The exercise, named Austere Challenge 12, was originally scheduled for last spring but was postponed due to regional tensions with Iran.

On October 14, large numbers of American soldiers are expected to begin arriving in Israel, where they will set up aerial defense positions on Israeli territory and on US Navy vessels off the Israeli coastline.

The three-week drill will simulate various missile defense scenarios, and is expected to end with a live-fire interception of a decoy incoming Patriot missile.

One of the objectives of the drill is to facilitate the rapid deployment of US missile defense systems to Israel and test their ability to operate in conjunction with Israeli defense systems during a conflict.

Thus, Israel is also about to have all the military equipment and personnel in place needed to deal with air defense against an enemy missile barrage.

Finally, as reported by Zerohedge, an extra U.S. aircraft carrier and amphibious warship are about to arrive in the Arabian Sea thus placing maximum American naval forces around Iran just in time for the October 15th new moon:

The news surrounding the Middle East, particularly Iran and Syria, may come and go in waves, but for the most part it is loud political grandstanding, jawboning and largely noise. Or rather, it will be noise until these two catalytic events occur: the third US Aircraft carrier (CVN-74 Stennis) and the second big deck amphibious warfare ship (LHA-5 Peleliu), both dispatched as of several weeks ago with a destination the 5th US Fleet headquartered in Bahrain, reach their target - the Arabian Sea, located by the Straits of Hormuz and right next to Iran. As the following naval update map from Stratfor shows, both are now within a week of reaching their destination: conveniently so with at least two weeks to go until the presidential election. Needless to say, once on location, the naval and airborne support for any offensive operation, especially those launched during new moon cycles, will be simply suffocating. 

Are the U.S. and Israel preparing for a strike on Iran around the time of the upcoming new moon on October 15th?

This is an even greater concern IMHO given the pattern of historic mass panics  climaxing into this mid-autumn new moon as identified in my earlier writings on the subject.

I sincerely hope and pray my conjectures here are totally off base and unreasonable, but this all seems to make too much sense.  If what I'm pointing out is accurate, then this weekend might be your last chance to put a plan together for evacuating and/or sheltering in place in the event of global nuclear war.  Please do so accordingly.

It was during this time, going into the new moon that marks the end of the month of Tishrei on the lunar-based Hebrew calendar, that the 1929 and 1987 stock market crashes occurred as well as when the closest approaches to nuclear world war took place during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War. This seasonal pattern is a notable corroboration of my primary thesis that man as a species suffers from a "Global Bipolar Disorder" such that there are ongoing extreme swings in mass mood between social manias and collective depressions which shape human history.

In this context, I remain very alert to news during this period that suggests any possibility of the "apocalyptic vision" I had in February 1991 which began with a chemical SCUD missile attack on Haifa, Israel. This morning I came across a news story that specifically indicates such a possibility:

A Patriot anti-missile battery has been installed in the north, atop Mt. Carmel near Haifa. However, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, deployment of a Patriot battery “is not an unusual thing.”

The system, operated by the IDF Air Defense Command, is capable of intercepting flying objects (balllistic missiles, aircraft and other threats) at ranges between 60 to 160 kilometers ( 37 to 99 miles). The Patriot system was used during the Gulf War to intercept missiles fired at Israel from Iraq.

Installation of the battery in the north came after the IDF shot down a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) that flew nearly the entire length of the country, albeit most of the way via the Mediterranean.

The small drone was shot down Saturday morning over an uninhabited area in the northern Negev Desert. Two Israeli F-16 fighter jets “escorted” the aircraft on its journey down the coast before destroying the aircraft.

It is widely assumed that the drone was transmitting photographs, and if it had continued on its easterly course from Gaza, it would have flown near, or directly over the Dimona nuclear reactor. Israeli officials have been concerned for some time that the facility could be vulnerable to an attack from Iran.

According to a report on the Beirut-based pan-Arab television station Al-Mayadeen, with links to the Hizbullah terrorist organization, Hizbullah was responsible for the drone's flagrant violation of Israeli air space. In a brief statement, the station said the drone managed “to penetrate 100 kilometers and raise tension in Israel.” However, Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah has not made an official comment on the incident.

The obvious question is this: What would lead Israeli Defense Forces to deploy a Patriot anti-missile battery atop Mount Carmel at this time unless there's anticipation of a missile attack on Haifa? Is Israel planning retaliation against Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon for the drone flown over the Jewish state Saturday? If so, will this provoke a military response from Hezbollah including a missile barrage against Israel including the northern city of Haifa? Will those missiles contain chemical weapons as I foresaw 20 years ago?

I certainly hope and pray not, but this is the period I've long considered most likely for the world to share my apocalyptic vision. God I hope I'm deluded...

Just an FYI.

As noted in my April blog, "Jonathan Cahn: The Harbinger", there is an intriguing phenomenon surrounding the date of Elul 29 on the Jewish calendar.  As Rabbi Cahn discovered and spelled out in his book, The Harbinger, on this last day on the Jewish calendar in the last two Sabbatical Years, 2001 and 2008 (Sabbatical Years occur every seven years under Jewish tradition), two of the three largest point drops in the DJIA in stock market history occurred:



The plunge of just over 7 percent or nearly 700 points on 9/17/01, or 29 Elul 5761 on the Hebrew calendar, occurred in response to the 9/11 attacks.  The drop of 777.7 points or 7 percent on 9/29/08, or 29 Elul 5768 on the Hebrew calendar, took place in reaction to the U.S. Congress failing to approve the first vote for a Wall Street bailout during the financial crisis that year.

As pointed out in the section of my April blog dubbed, "The Mystery Of The Shmita & The Septennial Sabbatical Cycle", it's an incredible coincidence that two of the three largest point drops in the Dow struck on the last day of the seven-year Jewish Sabbatical cycle.  In fact, statistically the odds of this occurring are more than a million to one.

So maybe God's trying to make a point with us.  What point could that be?

Consider this.  9/11 involved massive strikes against the greatest symbols of American "Capitalism and Imperialism", i.e., the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon.  These attacks against the U.S. were carried out by Islamic extremists under the guidance of Communist forces. Islam purportedly represents "submission to God's will" and Communism purportedly signifies "sharing wealth equally".  In this context, one might well argue that 9/11 was a warning from God to America of the need to submit to God's will to share our wealth.

Needless to say, America, and Wall Street in particularly, failed to learn any lesson from 9/11.

Thus, unrestrained greed ran amok for another cycle and what emerged was a sub-prime mortgage bubble that epitomized financial corruption throughout our society.  Eventually the bubble burst, however, and when Wall Street didn't get the bailout it wanted from Main Street on 9/29/08, the second Elul 29 crash struck.  So too did a prolonged economic collapse as American Capitalism seemed to fail.

Yet, just as the 'Harbinger' prophecy from Isaiah 9:10 foretells, God's people still fail to get the divine message:

“The bricks have fallen down,
but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars.”

As President Obama puts it:




The truth is that rebuilding in contravention to God's will is ultimately futile.

I think what's key here is what Jews are called upon to do on the last day of the Sabbatical Year, Elul 29th:

When the Shmita (Sabbatical) year ends, personal debts which are due during that year are considered nullified and forgiven. The Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita and makes observance a test of religious faith. [Wiki]

Are the "creditors" of this world forgiving debts as their debts were forgiven by Christ?

I think not.

Now the question is, how is God the Author of this story in which we dwell going to respond to such disobedience?

I can't say for sure, but it seems I've long been pointing out a likely source of a future upset.  If Russia is indeed misleading the West and utilizing the Islamic world's hatred and anger toward us for the purpose of unleashing a surprise third world war, then this would clearly constitute a most profound punishment for our nation's sins.

Finally, this brings us to Elul 29 of this year.  While I doubt God has anything planned for the date this year, since this is not a Sabbatical Year (the next year ends in September of 2015 when I expect the cycle to reach its low), what I can say is that the stock market appears to be ending a diagonal triangle pattern that in the context of the Elliott Wave Principle indicates an extraordinarily sharp reversal may be imminent.  That something would occur in the wake of Ben Bernanke's offer to print more money galore seems symbolic in that the recent run-up on Wall Street in response is the epitome of misplaced faith in the false god of Mammon rather than the true God of Israel.  Meanwhile, the new moon approaches just as Israel has come to believe it has no other option but to strike Iran's nuclear weapons program. In fact the new moon occurs on Elul 29, which is September 16th on a Gregorian calendar.

Reversal From Dow 13K, Nasdaq 3K & Purim

UPDATE: The day after Purim 2012 the current round of Arab-Israeli violence began starting with an IDF airstrike in Gaza that took out two key militant leaders.

The DJIA and Nasdaq Composite stock indices reversed decisively from the psychologically important 13K and 3K marks today, respectively:





The Nasdaq Composite reached a high of 3000.11 on March 1st and the DJIA closed at 13005 on February 29th. This may have been the Elliott Wave Primary wave-2 peak in mass mood before the Apocalypse Wave that may now be underway with today's sharp drop in stock prices.

As explained in my thesis and reiterated in this blog time and time again, reversals from psychologically significant thousand marks in major stock averages often correspond with major historical shocks like the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War, Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait and the terrorist attacks against America on 9/11:







What about this time around?

Again, the major concern is that, according to the Elliott Wave Principle, the next leg down in mass mood should be what I've dubbed the "Apocalypse Wave":





As can be seen above, according to Robert Prechter, the "Elliott Wave Theorist", a 90%+ collapse in U.S. stock prices is being projected according to the Wave Principle.

Where would such an epic collapse in mass mood come from?

Obviously that's what I've been trying to warn the world about for literally half of my life since suffering an apocalyptic vision in February of 1991 that began with seeing a special report of a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel.



Is it possible the world is now about to experience what I foresaw 21 years ago?

I hope and pray not.

However, here is an interesting tidbit of information that seems to suggest Israel might strike Iran's nuclear sites sooner than later....an action that could result in what I foresaw in 1991.



On Thursday the Jewish holiday of Purim will occur that commemorates God's salvation of the Jewish people from annihilation by the Persians as accounted for in the Old Testament's Book of Esther.

Here's what's remarkable about Purim in recent history (list of Purim dates):

1. Purim 1991 (2/28) - The first war against Iraq ends.

2. Purim 2003 (3/18) - The second war against Iraq begins (actually next day: 9:34 p.m., March 19 EST).

3. Purim 2008 - (2/21) A 7.2-magnitude earthquake hits western China.

4. Purim 2010 (2/28) - An 8.8 earthquake strikes Chile (actually 2/27 - Purim began at sunset that day - sixth largest earthquake ever to be recorded by a seismograph).

5. Purim 2011 (2/20) - NATO military intervention in Libya begins. (Intervention began the night of 2/19 which was precisely when Purim begins, i.e., after sunset. Interestingly, if you turn the word Libya into Hebrew letters, it spells 'G-d's heart' (לב-יה). Also note that days prior, on 3/11/11, Japan suffered a 9.0 earthquake and massive tsunami.)

What about 2012 (March 8)?

Well, maybe it is telltale that during Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the White House yesterday, in which the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iran was the primary topic, the Jewish leader left a decorated scroll telling the biblical story of the Book of Esther as a gift.

Was Benjamin Netanyahu signaling something?

Regardless of the when and where of what is about to unfold, the important point is that Israel and America need to be aware they are coming under God's judgment for their "sin", i.e., for rebellion against God in their relentless pursuit of Mammon:

My guess is the revealing pattern has something to do WITH THIS and THIS.

War With Iran?

With the Elliott Wave pattern looking ominous with a total lunar eclipse approaching, it looks like war with Iran may be getting closer and may already be underway covertly:

How was Iran able to capture a RQ-170 Sentinel drone? This is an incredible feat that seems way beyond Iran's capacity. Presuming the Islamic Republic had some Russian and/or Chinese assistance, the real issue that comes to mind is....was this a way of further pressuring Israel to strike Iran on its own, i.e., without U.S. support and knowledge? DEBKA offers some insightful analysis on this score:

The state of the lost UAV refutes the US military contention that the Sentinel's systems malfunctioned. If this had happened, it would have crashed and either been wrecked or damaged. The condition of the RQ-170 intact obliges the US and Israel to make major changes in plans for a potential strike against Iran's nuclear program.

The Obama administration's decision after internal debate not to send US commando or air units into Iran to retrieve or destroy the secret RQ-170 stealth drone which fell into Iranian hands has strengthened the hands of the Israeli faction which argues the case for striking Iran's nuclear installations without waiting for the Americans to make their move.

Senior Israeli diplomatic and security officials who followed the discussion in Washington concluded that, by failing to act, the administration has left Iran not only with the secrets of the Sentinel's stealth coating, its sensors and cameras, but also with the data stored in its computer cells on targets marked out by the US and/or Israeli for attack.

Bear in mind my opinion that Iran's nuclear program is really for provoking a fight with Israel more so than actually building the Bomb. After all, if Iran wanted to build a nuke, they could have acquired plenty of highly enriched uranium off the black market to work with. There's been no need for Tehran to pursue its brazenly public uranium enrichment program over the years except for the purpose of provocation.

Why is Iran provoking a fight with Israel? It's the same game Moscow and Beijing are playing. They know they're going to unleash a nuclear third world war that will devastate Western civilization and set the world back a century, but they want to do everything in their power to shape history in a manner such that "the Jews" and America are blamed for the coming cataclysm being planned.

Is World War Three Beginning?

Is the 'Apocalypse Wave' I've long been warning about (for some, including myself, ad nauseam) starting to take the form of World War Three?

While the financial and economic crisis in the Eurozone has been the focus of popular concern to-date, it's starting to appear that this is off target of the primary threat to collective well-being: i.e., the East's long-planned war against the West.

In recent days the crises in Syria and Egypt have been coming to a head along side the confrontation between Israel and Iran. Throw Kosovo into the mix, and maybe Korea too, and it's not to hard to see how an all-out East-West conflict will be the outcome. That this will come as a total surprise to almost everyone is by design.

Autumn Panic Update: Final Days Or Temporary Reprieve?

The high-risk window for an autumn mass panic that I've been warning about since August just opened with tonight's full moon:



Here's a note I sent to Robert Prechter earlier today:

Full moon is tonight. Again, between the full moon and new moon in the 7th lunar month has seen some of the largest panics in history. Market internals and the wave count suggest Oct. 4th was a major low and a multi-week rally is underway, but seasonality is still what I'm watching since this is a predominant force in mass mood swings IMHO.

As for the Elliott Wave count, a distinct five-wave pattern does appear to have developed between the early-May top and the October 4th low:



This wave count is already generally consistent with seasonality given a potentially important October low, but one still needs to remain alert as it is typically this late-October period after the full moon and into the new moon when historic panics occur.

Again, any such panic can take the form of a financial crisis and/or it can take the form of war. In this regard, I reviewed the two key historical examples today that I've been highlighting, i.e., the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab/Israeli War.

With regard to the October full and new moons in 1962 and 1973, we find the following:

1962 Cuban Missile Crisis: Oct. 13th full moon / Oct. 28th new moon

October 14, 1962 - A U-2 flying over western Cuba discovers missile sites. Photographs obtained by this flight provide hard evidence that Soviets have missiles in Cuba.

October 24, 1962 - Soviet ships en route to Cuba with questionable cargo either slow down or reverse their course except for one. Military forces go to DEFCON 2 the highest ever in U.S. history.

1973 Yom Kippur Arab/Israeli War - Oct. 11th full moon / Oct. 26th new moon

October 11th, 1973 - Israel attacks Syria from its positions on the Golan Heights. The Soviet Union's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Dobrynin, tells U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that Soviet airborne forces are on the alert to defend Damascus. Kissinger warns Dobrynin that if the Soviets send troops to the Middle East, the United States would as well.

October 24th, 1973 - A second cease-fire is put into effect, but fighting continues between Egypt and Israel. As a result, the Soviet Union threatens the United States that it will send troops to support the Egyptians. The United States puts its nuclear forces on a higher alert. The Soviet Union withdraws its threat the following day.

2011? Oct. 11th full moon / Oct. 26th new moon

While no international crisis of import has thus far erupted, one should note how today Iran was accused by the U.S. of plotting to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador in Washington, D.C.:



Is this leading up to some sort of international crisis?

Turkey threatens Syria (with war?)

This is low probability, but here's my current read.

We are still in a Puetz eclipse crash window around the 8/13 full moon. Crash climaxes typically occur after the full moon.

We are now reaching a Fibonacci 38.2% retracement of the downleg that just occurred. It's possible that next a third of third of third Elliott Wave down could start, i.e., an "Apocalypse Wave" crash in mass mood.

Meanwhile, Turkey made some bellicose comments toward Syria today:

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday told Bashar Assad military operations against civilians must end immediately and unconditionally, warning the Syrian president that these were Ankara's "final words".

"This is our final word to the Syrian authorities, our first expectation is that these operations stop immediately and unconditionally," Davutoglu told a news conference.

"If these operations do not stop there will be nothing left to say about the steps that would be taken," he said, without elaborating.

Now keep in mind that a Kuwaiti newspaper reported in late-June that Turkey was contemplating invading Syria to depose Bashar al-Assad.

“Turkey informed Britain, France, Italy, Germany and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) leadership of the possibility that it would launch an offensive in … Aleppo, Homs, Hama and Latakia,” As-Seyassah daily quoted an unnamed British officials as saying, according to the Lebanese news website nowlebanon.com.

Turkey is a NATO member and Syria is backed by Iran and Russia. What's more, Iran has threatened Turkey with missile strikes if Turkish bases are used for military action against Syria. I think you get the picture.

Of course, I would point out that Syria is instigating this conflict, but the truth is being well camouflaged in "unrest". One might note how Egypt sent a large military force into the Sinai over the weekend, purportedly to combat al Qaeda militants. Also, yesterday Colonel Gaddafi fired a SCUD missile at rebel territory as NATO braces itself for a final violent showdown. The Libyan dictator still likely has an arsenal of SCUDs and chemical warheads to top them with, although I don't think these missiles could reach Israel as in my apocalyptic vision.

The bottom line is that the "Arab Spring" has provided cover for the pieces to be moved into place for an effective surprise attack on Israel and, in turn, America and NATO, as I've long been warning about.

Something up with Iran?

Today global oil reserves were tapped pushing oil prices sharply lower, and U.S. sanctions were placed on Iran's top airline and port operator obstructing ship and air travel with the Islamic state. Meanwhile, there was a plane crash in Russia that killed five top Russian scientists that had been aiding Iran's nuclear program. Finally, Israel has just completed an extensive drill for civil defense in the event of an all-out enemy missile barrage against the Jewish state (keep in mind my apocalyptic vision on this score). These reports are most likely innocuous, but the DJIA appears to be breaking below the psychologically important 12000 mark today:



As thoroughly examined in this blog and my thesis, major historical shocks sometimes occur when the DJIA reverses below key thousand marks. Could some sort of military action against Iran be in the works around the July 1st new moon (solar eclipse)? Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant is set to officially go online in August, so the upcoming new moon is probably the last one to offer the tactical advantage of the cover of darkness for an air strike on Bushehr before the facility is in full operation.

Man Is Completely Insane & Collective Suicide May Be Near

It never mattered what I said or what I wrote, there was no way I could ever divert man as a species from its utterly insane, suicidal course.

Twenty years ago today the 1991 Gulf War began with a massive U.S. aerial bombardment on Iraq began to evict Saddam Hussein's occupying forces from Kuwait. The whole affair was a nonsensical lie of some sort to strategically mislead the West regarding the feigned collapse of power in the Communist East:



In the context of that historical crisis, I had a mysterious vision of a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel in early February of 1991 that was followed by hearing an air-raid siren and nuclear explosion with a friend upon reading aloud the words from the 8th chapter of the Book Of Revelation:



While this supernatural warning proved irrelevant to the crisis in 1991, I believe what I foresaw may be relevant to what is about to transpire in the near-future:



It's almost as if history has unfolded according to some sort of long-term plan.

The West - selfish, arrogant and deluded beyond all reason - will be utterly surprised by its undoing from the calculated designs of the East, but what else can one expect when the world has gone completely insane?

I tried to stop the madness, but all I've met is dismissal, mockery and persecution. In all these years no one has been willing to lift a finger to help me to save ourselves, so the fate is what man makes and there's been nothing I could do to change the tragic story unfolding around me. It's all just ridiculous, pathetic and futile. (Of course, self-described Christians will maintain there's 'hope in Christ', but I simply don't see it as long as they are likewise deluded into inaction.)

Are we predictably irrational animals that self-destruct?
