Elul 29 & The End Of The Age

Tomorrow is Elul 29 on the Hebrew calendar, the last day of the Jewish year 5774.  Starting Thursday (actually at sunset tomorrow), a new Sabbatical year, the Jewish "Shemitah", will begin.  Is this the 'End of the Age'?

THE MYSTERY OF THE SHEMITAH

Pastor Jonathan Cahn, a messianic Jewish Rabbi who leads Hope of the World ministries in New Jersey, just released a new book, The Mystery of the Shemitah, which focuses on the historical relationships between the Jewish "Shemitah", the Sabbatical year of rest that recurs every seven years on the Hebrew calendar, and economic and geopolitical crises.
Of particular note were the last two Shemitahs from September 30, 2000 to September 17, 2001 and from September 13, 2007 to September 29, 2008 (the Hebrew calendar year is based upon a lunar year).  Both of these periods saw substantial reversals in the stock market and economy that were capped by major crashes on the very last day of the Jewish year, Elul 29.
Elul 29 has special significance to Jewish believers in the Sabbatical year:

At the end of seven years you will make a release. And this is the manner of the release: to release the hand of every creditor from what he lent his friend; he shall not exact from his friend or his brother, because the time of the release for the Lord has arrived. (Deuteronomy 15:1–2)

Personal debts are considered forgiven at sunset on the 29th of Elul. Since this aspect of shmita is not dependent on the land, it applies to Jews both in Israel and elsewhere. (Wiki)

As noted in my September 2012 blog on the topic:

....there is an intriguing phenomenon surrounding the date of Elul 29 on the Jewish calendar.  As Rabbi Cahn discovered and spelled out in his book, The Harbinger, on this last day on the Jewish calendar in the last two Sabbatical Years, 2001 and 2008 (Sabbatical Years occur every seven years under Jewish tradition), two of the three largest point drops in the DJIA in stock market history occurred: 

The plunge of just over 7 percent or nearly 700 points on 9/17/01, or 29 Elul 5761 on the Hebrew calendar, occurred in response to the 9/11 attacks.  The drop of 777.7 points or 7 percent on 9/29/08, or 29 Elul 5768 on the Hebrew calendar, took place in reaction to the U.S. Congress failing to approve the first vote for a Wall Street bailout during the financial crisis that year. 

As pointed out in the section of my April (2012) blog dubbed, "The Mystery Of The Shmita & The Septennial Sabbatical Cycle", it's an incredible coincidence that two of the three largest point drops in the Dow struck on the last day of the seven-year Jewish Sabbatical cycle.  In fact, statistically the odds of this occurring are more than a million to one. 

So maybe God's trying to make a point with us.  What point could that be?

URGENT WAR ALERT: Israel Strikes Syria

While there was a low probability of an Israeli strike on Iran going into the November 3rd new moon, apparently Israel did have a plan to strike targets in Syria. Last night the Israeli air force struck targets inside Syria at an air defense base in Latakia and possibly at a site near Damascus:

Israeli warplanes struck a military base near the northern Syrian city of Latakia on Thursday, an Obama administration official confirmed to CNN.

The target, according to the Obama administration official, was missiles and related equipment the Israelis felt might be transferred to Hezbollah.

The Al Arabiya network reported Thursday that Israel has carried out two strikes in Syria, in order to prevent trucks from carrying weapons to Hizbullah in Lebanon. The attacks reportedly took place near Damascus and in the Latakiya region. At least one of the attacks took place on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

The report said that the trucks were carrying SAM-8 missiles. Jerusalem refused to comment on the report.

In the past Syria has threatened aggressive retaliation in response to any Israeli strikes on their territory. Thus far, this threat has proven false in response to multiple prior Israeli strikes. Will it be different this time around? The seasonal pattern in mass mood suggests this is a distinct possibility.

We're obviously entering a very dangerous period...

For those who are familiar with my train of thought and/or have read my Thesis, "Manic-Depressive Man", a sense of apocalyptic foreboding is inescapable at this point.

First off, precisely in conjunction with Secretary of State Kerry's August 26th bellicose speech regarding possible Western military action against Syria, the DJIA reversed sharply below the psychologically important 15000 mark:

As I've long been pointing out, reversals from psychologically important thousand marks in the DJIA tend to coincide with major plunges in stock prices, sometimes in "reaction" to geopolitical shocks like the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War, Iraq's July 1990 invasion of Kuwait and 9/11.







Meanwhile, in terms of the seasonality of man's manic-depressive mass mood swings, we are entering the annual period when the world is most prone to major "panics" and the onset of social depressions.


Typically, these panics take a financial form such as the 1929, 1987 and 2008 stock market crashes, but they also can take the form of apocalyptic scares like the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, the October 1973 Arab-Israeli War, and 9/11 and the subsequent Anthrax mailings.

My work is drawn from an award-winning 1998 article written by Chris Carolan, Autumn Panics: A Calendar Phenomenon, which points out the tendency for financial panics to climax into the 28th day of the 7th month on the annual lunar calendar:






I took Carolan's discovery a step further utilizing the lunar-based Hebrew calendar. What I found is the tendency is for mass panics to develop in between the full moon and new moon in the second half of the 7th month on the lunar calendar which is generally equivalent to the period between Tishrei 15 and Tishrei 30 on the Hebrew calendar (usually late-October on the Gregorian calendar). During this Hebrew calendar window, the following major "panics" took place:

13 October 1857 = Panic of 1857 = 25th of Tishrei, 5618

24 September 1869 = Black Friday in 1869 = 19th of Tishrei, 5630

29 October 1929 = 1929 Stock Market Crash = 25th of Tishrei, 5690

26 October 1962 = Cuban Missile Crisis = 28th of Tishrei, 5723

24 October 1973 = Yom Kippur Arab/Israeli War = 28th of Tishrei, 5734

19 October 1987 = 1987 Black Monday Crash = 26th of Tishrei, 5748

13 October 1989 = 1989 Friday the 13th Crash = 14th of Tishrei, 5750

27 October 1997 = 1997 Asian Financial Crisis = 26th of Tishrei, 5758

24 October 2008 = 2008 Financial Crisis = 25th of Tishrei, 5769

Note that I've included in the list above the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and October 1973 Arab/Israeli Yom Kippur War since, while not reflected in major stock market crashes, these historical crises were still effectively mass panics. This was signified on both occasions by the fact that the highest DEFCON nuclear alerts ever were reached during these crises, actually peaking right into the same time frame of the 7th lunar month as when the stock market crashes in 1929 and 1987 climaxed.

In 2013, Tishrei 25-26 on the Hebrew calendar will fall on September 29-30 on the Gregorian calendar. Thus, we are now entering the period when mass panics tend to kick-off according to mass mood seasonality. If a mass panic develops, it may climax into late-September as the historical pattern suggests. The period of greatest danger, i.e., when an epic "crash" (upset of collective beliefs and expecations) could occur in the form of a surprise nuclear third world war, should be after the full moon in September going into the new moon in October between 9/19 and 10/4.

With regard to this historical pattern, I think it's important to note the relevance of Elul 29 on the Hebrew calendar. This is the last day of the year for Jews. As uncovered by Jonathan Cahn, author of "The Harbinger", on this important date on the Hebrew calendar during the last two "Sabbatical Years" which occurred in 2000-2001 and 2007-2008, there were major panics on Wall Street. In 2001, this was in "reaction" to 9/11. In 2008, this was in response to the financial crisis of that year. Chris Carolan, in his article linked to above, notes that the stock market crash of 1873 occurred into the 28th day of the 6th lunar month that year, which is equivalent to Elul 26-27 in that year on the Hebrew calendar.

September 18 and 19, 1873 were labeled “Black Thursday” and “Black Friday” in the collapse of 1873. The Friday selling took prices of major stocks 5 to 25% percent below Thursday’s already collapsed levels. This panic was considered the greatest on Wall Street until 1929. The news accounts describe the same type of free fall and despair as the 20th century counterparts. The annual lunar calendar dates of “Black Thursday” and “Black Friday” were 6-27 and 6-28, one month earlier, but exactly the same lunar days as the 20th century examples. News accounts describe a temporary bottom late on Friday. Saturday, September 20 brought renewed selling and the closure of the exchange after a shortened two-hour trading day. The stock exchange remained closed for a week thereafter. Though on Monday September 22 prices rose sharply in trading in the streets. The timing of the 1873 Autumn panic is consistent with the 20th century results, though exactly one month earlier,

Elul 26-29 on the Hebrew calendar is equivalent to September 1-4 in 2013. Might a mass panic hit early this year?

This certainly seems distinctly possible given the developing crisis concerning Syria. On August 21st, Bashar Assad's regime unleashed a Sarin gas attack on the outskirts of Damascus that killed hundreds. Since this overstepped the "red line" painted by President Obama a year earlier, there are now strong indications that the Western powers are about to strike Syria militarily. What could unfold as a result of a Western attack on Syria? I believe that could be what I foresaw more than two decades ago as I was learning about the Elliott Wave Principle of stock price movements: a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel and subsequent global nuclear war.

What do you do when you're born into a species that's too insane and self-destructive to realize it's completely insane and heading to self-destruction?

On the anniversary of Barack Obama drawing a "red line" with Bashar Assad's regime over using chemical weapons, Syria unleashes a vicious Sarin gas attack on rebels killing hundreds:





What's more, Syria made this move days after a U.N. team arrived in Damascus to investigate prior potential chemical attacks in the country, and the site of the attack on August 21st just happened to be a few miles from the hotel where the U.N. investigators were headquartered:

Mr Assad has been advancing recently, beating back the rebels and recapturing territory. Using chemical weapons might make sense when he is losing, but why launch gas attacks when he is winning anyway?

Moreover, United Nations inspectors charged with discovering the truth about chemical weapons in Syria arrived in Damascus on Sunday. Superficially, it would seem strange for the regime to gas its enemies within 72 hours of letting these experts into the country. [UK Telegraph]

The timing and location of the reported chemical weapons use - just three days after the team of U.N. chemical experts checked in to a Damascus hotel a few km (miles) to the east at the start of their mission - was surprising.

"It would be very peculiar if it was the government to do this at the exact moment the international inspectors come into the country," said Rolf Ekeus, a retired Swedish diplomat who headed a team of UN weapons inspectors in Iraq in the 1990s.

"At the least, it wouldn't be very clever."

Ekeus said the mandate of the U.N. team was limited to three sites but could be amended to investigate fresh claims - which would be simpler to verify than the other months-old cases.

"It is easier to do sampling and testing, and also to look at the victims, if there are sick people or even dead people (on the scene). It is easier to get to doctors and get to the place where the event happened." [Reuters]

Of course, Syria, Russia and anti-Western elements are seeking to blame Syrian rebels for unleashing the attack upon themselves to elicit a Western military strike against Bashar Assad's regime, but there's apparently compelling evidence that government forces were behind the gas attack:

"Everything leads us to believe that the regime carried out this abhorrent act" - French President Francois Hollande

An intelligence report detailing evidence of the alleged attack could be released as early as Tuesday, a U.S. official told CNN. The report will include forensic evidence and intercepted communications among Syrian military commanders, the official said.

As the Obama Administration now rushes to take military action against Bashar Assad's regime for crossing the President's "red line", an utterly predictable response, does it dawn upon anyone, save me, that this is a colossal strategic trap?

What kind of trap?

It's exactly what I've been warning this ill-fated world about for the past two+ decades: a future chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel that triggers a nuclear third world war now that the Western powers least expect such a full-scale East/West conflict.



Bashar Assad is nothing but a Russian puppet and is doing the Devil's bidding. The reality is that this world is being misled into destruction and subjugation by the "Old Enemy" and there's apparently no 'good men' left to stop the triumph of evil.

Possible Chemical Weapons Use In Damascus

Just as the DJIA reverses from the psychologically important 15000 mark, there are reports that Bashar Assad's forces unleashed a Sarin nerve gas attack in eastern suburbs of Damascus.

(Reuters) - Syria's opposition accused President Bashar al-Assad's forces of gassing many hundreds of people - by one report as many as 1,300 - on Wednesday in what would, if confirmed, be the world's worst chemical weapons attack in decades.

Unlike previous such reports, this one is backed with many YouTube videos showing symptoms consistent with Sarin poisoning:







DEBKA is reporting that this may be Assad's response to an initial entry of U.S.-trained rebels from Jordan:

DEBKAfile reports exclusively that Assad is acting to counter the first organized incursion of US-trained Syrian rebels from Jordan into southern Syria. The first group of 250 rebels, trained in special operations tactics by US and Jordanian instructors, entered Syria Saturday, Aug. 17, armed with weapons of Russian provenance supplied by the US and Saudi Arabia.

They are fighting under US and Jordanian commanders based in the Hashemite Kingdom.

A second group of 300 fighters crossed into Syria from Jordan Monday.

They are linking up with local rebel groups chosen from amongst those with no ties with the jihadist Jabhat al-Nusra (Al Qaeda in Syria).

According to our military sources, the rebel units are advancing at speed along the Syrian-Israeli border. They have forced the Syrian brigades posted there into retreating from positions inside a strip of 1-25 kilometers from the border, and captured the villages of Raihaniya, Breiqa and Beer Ajam.

This tactic has moved the Syrian army back from the area opposite the Israeli Golan, and started marking out a buffer zone between Israeli and Syrian forces in the Horan province.

Notably, this incident comes as a U.N. team of inspectors arrived in Damascus next to the location of the reported Sarin attack.

Two things stand out immediately in this reported Syrian attack.

Firstly, the timing is odd, bordering on suspicious. Why would the Assad government, which has recently been retaking ground from the rebels, carry out a chemical attack while UN weapons inspectors are in the country?

But secondly, the scale of the apparent casualties is far worse than any of the previous alleged chemical attacks. Experts say it would be almost impossible to fake so many dead and injured, including children and babies. They bear no visible wounds from gunshots; instead, many display the classic symptoms of a nerve agent attack, with startled, frozen expressions that experts say are reminiscent of Saddam Hussein's 1988 attack on the Kurds at Halabja.

Update: According to Arab media www.eltira.org , Bashar al-Assad was seriously wounded by gunfire last night Saturday, March 23rd by his bodyguard from Iran but is not dead. He is currently hospitalized, between life and death, at Shami Hospital in Damascus around which the streets were closed.

Exclusive information (in France): According to reports in the Arab press (and then republished in the Israeli press), there's information that journalists have "verified" the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad was killed this morning by one of his bodyguards. Important safety precautions have been set up at the hospital in Damascus.



The assassin in Damascus was his Iranian bodyguard, a military officer named Mehdi Jakoby. He was in charge of presidential security and was "offered" by Syria's ally Tehran.

According to various sources, there are reports of heavy fighting in Damascus. The roads leading to the hospital are closed.

Syrian TV premises have been abandoned.

If this information is officially confirmed, it would be a victory for the Islamists who are fighting for the seizure of power in Syria. No one really knows what will happen tomorrow if Assad is actually dead. Will Iran take a step back? Will Russia see red at the loss of his best friend? What about China? And what of the United States who pledged this week to put up a deadline "in the coming days" for the regime in Damascus, will they be strong enough to use their power in Syria for real?

Dow 14000 & World War Three?

Today the DJIA closed above the psychologically important 14000 mark for the first time in five years, i.e., since the 2008 financial crisis hit:

We may be in a comparable situation to when the DJIA tested the 1000 mark just before the last major Arab-Israeli War in 1973 and when the Dow brushed up against the 3000 mark right before Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990:

I believe the logic I spelled out regarding "Dow 13000 and World War Three?" applies here all the same (minus seasonality):



In fact, what has formed is a rather ominous "diagonal triangle" that typically marks the end of a major upswing pattern in mass mood:

What's telling is that this Elliott Wave pattern has unfolded into the upper channel line of the rise in stock prices dating back to the Great Depression:

In a prophetic, religious context, think of this as representing the peak of Capitalism and Western Civilization, and the associated mass servitude, worship and "love" (valuation) of Mammon (wealth; greed). Indeed, this is well represented by America's modern-day "Golden Calf", the bronze Charging Bull statue by Wall Street:

What will happen in the wake of this peak?

Thus, I do not believe it is mere coincidence that just as we are topping around Dow 14K, there's news of an Israeli air-strike against Syria that might provoke a military response by Syria and/or Iran and/or Iran's proxy force of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon:

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim Ali, quoted at al-Ahd, a Hezbollah-run news website, contended that his nation could make “a surprise decision to respond to the aggression of the Israeli warplanes,” adding that ”Syria is engaged in defending its sovereignty and its land.” In Iran, a deputy foreign minister was quoted by English-language Press TV as saying the “strike on Syria will have serious consequences for Tel Aviv.” He did not elaborate. Two weeks ago a disturbing video was uploaded to the internet the purports to show Syrian "rebels" killing two rabbits with Sarin nerve gas. It was suppposedly a warning by the rebels that they have and are prepared to use chemical weapons in the struggle against Bashar Assad's regime.

As far as I can ascertain, the first copy of the video was uploaded to the pro-Assad YouTube channel, TheSyriatube. Soon thereafter a copy of the video was uploaded to the pro-Assad YouTube channel for the Syrian Tribune, but this time with English subtitles. The heading for the video is: "Syria Rebels testing Tekkim chemicals to use as chem weapons":



TEKKIM is a chemical company located in Turkey.

As the room is panned in the video, you see containers of chemicals like potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, urea, etc., none of which are used in the production of nerve agents like Sarin and VX. They are useful in producing explosives (potassium nitrate is a key ingredient for gun powder) but not chemical weapons.

What you have therefore is an amateurish attempt to associate Turkey (READ: NATO) with what comes next in the video.

Next, you see an individual wearing chemical warfare garments pour a liquid in a vial into a larger vial within a glass chamber containing two rabbits. A heavy gas the pours out of the container exposing the rabbits. Within a minute or so, the rabbits start convulsing and then die, a typical fatal mammalian reaction to exposure to Sarin gas which is produced by combining two liquids (isopropanol and methylphosphonyl difluoride) just as shown.

Thus, the purported Syrian rebel YouTube video does appear to show the use of Sarin nerve agent on two rabbits.

Now let's consider what misinformation the "rebel" video seeks to convey.

Iran's Fars News Agency reported on the video in an article dubbed, "MP: Chemical Attack by Rebels Much More Possible than by Syrian Gov't", which appeared days after after the video was posted:

On Sunday, a shocking video posted on YouTube and other Internet networks showed Al Qaeda terrorists who are active in Syria within the framework of the Free Syrian Army are preparing to use chemical weapons against Syrian Shiites. The video showed the group testing chemical weapons on lab rabbits.

On the video, it appeared to be a nerve gas that rebels used on the rabbits. Then about a minute later, the rabbits were seen having convulsions.

The person carrying out the test, said in the video, "You saw what happened? This will be your fate, you infidel Alawites, I swear by ALLAH to make you die like these rabbits, one minute only after you inhale the gas."

On Saturday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry had warned that the armed rebels might use chemical weapons against the civilian population and the Syrian army.

"Terrorist groups may resort to using chemical weapons against the Syrian people... after having gained control of a toxic chlorine factory in the Eastern Aleppo," Syria's state SANA news agency quoted the foreign ministry as saying

The ministry was believed to be referring to the Syrian-Saudi Chemicals Company (SYSACCO) factory near Safira near Aleppo, which was taken over earlier this week by the armed rebels from the terrorist group Al-Nusra Front, affiliated to the al-Qaeda.

It's been widely reported that the Al-Nusra Front had overtaken the Syrian-Saudi Chemicals Company (SYSACCO) "chlorine" factory near Safira, but there's conflicting reports as to whether or not chemical weapons are stored there. Near to this location is a known chemical weapons depot where SCUD missiles targeting Israel are also located that are tipped with chemical warheads. Since President Obama has even identified Al-Nusra as a terrorist group affiliated with al Qaeda, the prospect of Al-Nusra taking control of such a site is very alarming.

Of course, if such a sensitive site as Safira was to be overrun by rebel forces, you'd think Syria would put up a far more potent counterforce to defend it from occupation since losing their chemical weapons would mean rebel forces gaining access to weapons of mass destruction. At the least, you'd think Bashar Assad's forces would act to destroy any WMDs stored there to prevent there use by rebels.

Ultimately, however, I think this is all part of a setup for a war involving the use of chemical weapons by Syria ultimately against Israel. By hiding this under a seeming civil war in Syria, it's possible to make everything appear to be the "imperialist" West's fault....whether a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel comes from the regular Syrian army or from al-Qaeda terrorists operating as rebels.

The big news yesterday out of Syria was of a massive 'terrorist' bombing of the Interior Ministry building in Damascus:

The building of the Syrian interior ministry in the capital Damascus has been targeted by three explosions, according to state TV.

One of the blasts was caused by a car bomb, the report said.

There had been "a number of deaths and injuries" and damage to the building.

Meanwhile, members of a group of more than 100 countries have recognised Syria's opposition coalition as the "legitimate representative" of the Syrian people.

Foreign ministers from the Friends of Syria group made the decision to recognise the opposition National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Force after talks in Morocco.

'Huge explosion'

The interior ministry building is in the Kafar Souseh district, an area on the south-western outskirts of the capital where fighting has previously been reported between government forces and rebels.

The main entrance of the building was damaged by the blasts, state TV said.

As I've been warning at length in my "What's Really Going On In Syria?" blogs, the seeming insurgency there just doesn't add up, and there's reason to suspect that what's unfolding has been instigated from the top down.

Why would this be?

All I can point out is that the regime of Bashar Assad, in alliance with Russia and other hardline Arab/Islamic states like Iran and now Egypt, never lose site of the larger strategic objective, i.e., the destruction of "Big Satan" and "Little Satan", i.e., America and Israel. History is thus being shaped accordingly to effect this end.

The bombing of Syria's Interior Ministry seems to be a similar repeat of the bombing of Syria's National Headquarters building in July which I made clear at the time was a bombing that never actually occurred as reported. The BBC was the only news service that brought to light the suspicious circumstances of that purported terrorist event.

With regard to this newest 'terrorist' bombing, there was some astute reporting by Enduring America WorldView suggesting the bombing of the Interior Ministry building was an inside job:

1946 GMT: Syrian Media, SANA, now reports that three different explosions resulted in "martyring of a number of people and the injuring of others" at the Interior Ministry in Damascus. SANA does not say whether any officials have been injured, though rumors are flying, rumors which State TV has already denied. They have posted several pictures, two of which we post here (click for full size):

The problem? Looking at the video we posted at 1634:



....it appears that the rebars in the floor, were blown directly down. In the pictures below, you can see some of them sticking down. Only a huge explosion would do this. Furthermore, the blast would have to be right above this floor. Also, there are no signs of car parts, or scorching.

In other words, according to some weapons experts we've consulted, the main blast does not look at all like a car bomb. A car bomb would be difficult anyway, as sources suggest that the street in front of the Ministry has been closed by security for some time.

So how could an explosive that powerful get inside the Interior Ministry?

We'd note that these a preliminary findings. As more evidence comes in, and experts have more context with which to analyze that evidence, it may be easier to pinpoint a likely cause of the explosions.

Once again, what seems to be unfolding is an effort on the part of Syria to project the image that their nation is falling victim to 'Western imperialist aggression', and I believe this is opening the way ultimately for an all-out war on Israel and then the United States using weapons of mass destruction:



Ultimately this will open the way for Russia and Chinese domination of the world under the battle cry that the self-serving foreign policies of the Western powers completely failed to properly govern world affairs thereby justifying a global takeover by the 'former' Communist powers of the East. The truth of the matter, however, is that Russia and its allies were behind World War Three from the get-go and are therefore commanded by the ultimate criminal regimes about as unqualified for world governance as can be.

From an article in the left-leaning UK Guardian, "William Hague confirms 'evidence' of Syrian chemical weapons: Foreign secretary says he has seen some proof that Assad's forces are preparing to launch chemical attack against rebels":

Amid speculation that the regime could be targeted with air strikes, Hague said the use of chemical weapons would be a "major change in situation".

Hague's words came amid claims from Russia, Syria's principal ally in the UN security council, that a series of leaks from the Pentagon and US state department about Assad's ability to deploy chemical weapons was being used by Obama to underpin threats of military action against his regime.

The claims have been met with incredulity by the Kremlin, which has suggested they are being used as a pretext to increase pressure on Assad and prepare for the use of force.

In other words, the Western powers are being setup as the imperialist, war-mongering bad guys that trigger World War Three. Yet the truth is that Russia has been setting up this whole apocalyptic scenario from the get-go.

Does this mean World War Three has begun?

Well....first off, let's get something straight. World War Three has been underway for years. The tragedy is that Western intelligence is so foolish they don't even realize the struggle has been underway.

In a recently published book, Behind the Desert Storm: A Secret Archive Stolen From the Kremlin, Russian exile Pavel Stroilov (who translated and edited Alexander Litvinenko’s book, Allegations) sheds new light on how Moscow's machinations have shaped the explosive Middle East tinderbox of today based upon his examination of 50,000 top-secret Kremlin documents he stole from the Gorbachev Foundation archives. From Claire Berlinski's insightful article, The Cold War’s Arab Spring, we read:

Stroilov’s book....challenges the conventional wisdom that Western colonialists are to blame for the chaos in the region. All of its major conflicts, he argues, were caused by Soviet expansionism. Terrorism and the rabid anti-Israeli animus of the Arab world were Soviet inspirations....The documents clearly suggest that many contemporary conflicts in the Middle East were fomented by the Soviet empire, particularly in the final years before its break-up. And the events he describes have had a significant impact upon the current state of the region...

In a recent, must read article for WorldNetDaily dubbed A New Cold War, Ion Pacepa, the highest-ranking Soviet bloc intelligence defector, more specifically spells out for the West what Russia has been up to in recent decades:

In 1972, I had a breakfast with then-KGB chairman Yury Andropov in Moscow. The Kremlin, he told me, had decided to transform Arab anti-Semitism into an anti-American doctrine for the whole Muslim world. Thus, Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait and the subsequent military struggle between America and Saddam Hussein, the 9/11 attacks and subsequent War On Terror, the Arab Spring and emergence of a Muslim Brotherhood regime in Egypt, the ongoing insurgency in Syria, etc., etc., are all a product of Kremlin machinations to foment the violent hatred of the Muslim world against the West and vilify and isolate Israel and America on the world stage before our ultimate destruction. In other words, Israel, America and NATO are being setup as the fall guys for a nuclear third war that was ultimately planned and precipitated by the powers-that-be running Russia.

In this context, what the world has been witnessing in recent decades are the initial battles of World War Three before a final ultimate battle between East and West in which, borrowing a term from Ronald Reagan, the "Evil Empire" is planning to champion itself as the good guy and world savior (quite literally) while Israel, America and NATO are made out to be the "imperialist, Zionist" bad guys to blame for the coming holocaust of mass destruction.

Yet, the complete opposite is the case. Russia, China and the Arab powers have long been planning and conducting a third world war through which they hope to vanquish the West militarily, economically, politically and ideologically. The Kremlin is behind the ultimate historical act of premeditated mass deceit and mass murder.

So in the context of the case I'm presenting, has World War Three begun with Israel's newest conflict with Gaza?

Well, what can be argued is that we are now entering a far more dangerous and acute phase of a third world war that's been underway for decades already. Clearly, Israel's action in Gaza is likely to cement the emergent dominant worldview that the Jews are the belligerent bad guys that need to be dealt with militarily once and for all. The extremist Islamic regime in Egypt, chaos in Syria and Iran seemingly being pushed into a corner over its nuclear ambitions opens the way for an unexpected Arab/Islamic reaction to Israel's newest Gaza campaign, i.e., this time around a full-scale regional conflict in the Mideast may be set-off. This war, in turn, could well lead to the involvement of America and Russia on opposing sides and the use of weapons of mass destruction. Hence, the apocalyptic vision I experienced in February of 1991 that led me to uncover the global mass delusion I believe God has sent me into this world to dispel.

Let's hope and pray I'm wrong.

Extreme Danger Immediately Ahead?

The stock market continued its downward spiral today in the wake of Tuesday's reelection of Barack Obama. The DJIA and Nasdaq Composite have now decisively broken below the psychologically important 13000 and 3000 marks, respectively. What's more, the DJIA and key S&P500 index have broken below their technically important 200-day moving averages:

In late-September I posted a blog about man's seasonal insanity that highlighted how our species tends to suffer mass panics during the autumn. This blog was drawn from the work of Chris Carolan who discovered the pattern and published an award-winning paper on the subject, Autumn Panics: A Calendar Phenomenon, in 1998. This is relevant at the current juncture in that Carolan is noting that the same pattern in 1929 and 1987 appears to be repeating in 2012 one lunar cycle later than occurred in the previous years of major stock market crashes:

The emerging pattern seems to indicate a crash into, or at least around the time of, the total solar eclipse on November 13th this year. This is analogous to the 1929 stock market crash into a solar eclipse on November 1st of that year. (In 1987, the solar eclipse preceded the crash on September 23rd of that year.)

The problem, as I've long been warning, is that the potential scale of an autumn panic this time around is far greater than what was experienced in 1929 and 1987. Robert Prechter, the "Elliott Wave Theorist", has for some time been warning that based upon the fractal-based Elliott Wave pattern, the stock market might be headed for a collapse of epic proportions. Indeed, the long-term chart pattern suggests we just entered what I've dubbed the "Apocalypse Wave" which could involve a 99%+ drop in stock prices:

So does this mean that major stock market crash is about to unfold? If so, why?

This is what I believe God forewarned me about when I suffered an apocalyptic vision in February 1991.

The DJIA just broke decisively below the psychologically important 13000 mark. As noted in my prior blogs, in years past when the DJIA has broken below key thousand mark psychological barriers major historical shocks have erupted such as the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War, Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait and 9/11:







Similarly, is a major historical shock about to erupt at the current historical juncture? Will this shock come in the form of what I foresaw in February 1991, i.e., a third world war that begins with a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel? Such a potential crisis certainly seems possible at the current juncture given recent news out of the Middle East of a flare-up in the Golan Heights between Syria and Israel as the insurgency in Syria seems to be spreading beyond that nation's borders:

Three Syrian mortar shells struck in and around an Israeli village on the Golan Heights Thursday, marking a significant deterioration of security conditions along the border.

One shell fell in between homes in Moshav Alonei Habashan, but did not explode. Two more hit closer to the border.

“We believe these are stray shells, fired in the midst of internal Syrian fighting,” an IDF spokeswoman said.

No one was injured in the incident, which follows other stray shootings, including Syrian bullets that struck an IDF jeep on patrol last week.

Home Front Defense Minister Avi Dichter said Israel needed “nerves of steel” to deal with the instability in Syria.

Then, of course, there's the possibility that Israel is planning to strike Iran's nuclear sites around the time of the 11/13 new moon/solar eclipse:

NUCLEAR WAR ALERT: Is Israel Preparing For All-Out War Next Week?!

As those few who follow this blog are aware, I'm a bit on edge at this time regarding the threat of World War Three.  Today there was news that suggests that Israel may be preparing for just such a scenario.  First there was news of Israel deploying Patriot missiles atop Mount Carmel, seemingly to defend Haifa from missile attacks. Now there's news that Israel is planning to conduct a massive civil defense exercise that seems like perfect cover for putting necessary emergency services in place for all-out war next week.

In my September 25th blog, I highlighted how we were entering the season most prone for major global panics to occur.  In 1929 and 1987, this took the form of stock market crashes.  In 1962 and 1973, this took the form of geopolitical crises that brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. As examined in my thesis on Manic Depressive Man, I believe this pattern reveals an underlying "Global Bipolar Disorder" that is shaping human history.  What's more, it's possible this recurrent pattern is foreshadowing a future, nearly suicidal chapter of human history that might unfold during the "Fall".

In this light, my gravest concern is that the world will eventually share my "apocalyptic vision" of a global nuclear war that will begin with a chemical SCUD missile attack on Haifa, Israel.  Could this occur at the current historical juncture?  I'm afraid it's distinctly possible and, disturbingly, Israel seems to think it's possible as well.

My last blog noted news that Israel had placed Patriot missiles atop Mount Carmel overlooking the city of Haifa in northern Israel apparently in response to the Hezbollah's flight of an unmanned drone into Israeli territory last Saturday. This indicates that the IDF is concerned about the possibility of enemy missile strikes on Haifa in the near future.

While this story in and of itself is alarming, the news today of Israel's plan for a massive civil defense exercise, purportedly for an earthquake, is even more troubling.  According to IsraelNationalNews.com:

Israel is planning a huge emergency drill for next week amid speculation and fears that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will order a unilateral strike on Iranian uranium enrichment facilities. 

The drill tests the country’s ability to cope with an earthquake, and assumes hypothetical mass casualties of 7,000 dead, 70,000 wounded and 170,000 without a home. 

The drill will also include a scenario simulating a toxic chemical leak at the northern coastal port in Haifa. This is the first time a Home Front drill has dealt with a natural disaster scenario as opposed to a war scenario.

Here's what may be telltale.  Why is this "drill" being conducted as a response to an earthquake instead of as a war drill? Was a natural disaster selected as the purpose of the exercise in order to provide some sort of cover? If so, why? That the earthquake scenario involves such unprecedented casualties, i.e., 7000 dead and 70000 wounded, seems a tad odd for Israel which is rarely impacted by seismic disasters.  What's more, the inclusion of simulating a "toxic chemical leak" seems strange, although this would make good sense if the intent is to put emergency services in place to deal with a real world chemical missile barrage on Israel. In other words, this unprecedented Israeli 'Home Front drill' seems geared to have in place and ready-to-go the domestic emergency resources that would respond to retaliation by Iran, Hezbollah, Syria and/or Egypt in the event of an all-out Middle East war that could be triggered by an IDF strike on Iran's nuclear facilities or a like situation.

Buttressing the concern that Israel is about to go to war is news of another massive military exercise scheduled for next week. As the Jerusalem Post reported two days ago:

The US and Israel will commence the largest-ever joint air defense drill of its kind in Israel on October 21, an army source said on Tuesday.

The exercise, named Austere Challenge 12, was originally scheduled for last spring but was postponed due to regional tensions with Iran.

On October 14, large numbers of American soldiers are expected to begin arriving in Israel, where they will set up aerial defense positions on Israeli territory and on US Navy vessels off the Israeli coastline.

The three-week drill will simulate various missile defense scenarios, and is expected to end with a live-fire interception of a decoy incoming Patriot missile.

One of the objectives of the drill is to facilitate the rapid deployment of US missile defense systems to Israel and test their ability to operate in conjunction with Israeli defense systems during a conflict.

Thus, Israel is also about to have all the military equipment and personnel in place needed to deal with air defense against an enemy missile barrage.

Finally, as reported by Zerohedge, an extra U.S. aircraft carrier and amphibious warship are about to arrive in the Arabian Sea thus placing maximum American naval forces around Iran just in time for the October 15th new moon:

The news surrounding the Middle East, particularly Iran and Syria, may come and go in waves, but for the most part it is loud political grandstanding, jawboning and largely noise. Or rather, it will be noise until these two catalytic events occur: the third US Aircraft carrier (CVN-74 Stennis) and the second big deck amphibious warfare ship (LHA-5 Peleliu), both dispatched as of several weeks ago with a destination the 5th US Fleet headquartered in Bahrain, reach their target - the Arabian Sea, located by the Straits of Hormuz and right next to Iran. As the following naval update map from Stratfor shows, both are now within a week of reaching their destination: conveniently so with at least two weeks to go until the presidential election. Needless to say, once on location, the naval and airborne support for any offensive operation, especially those launched during new moon cycles, will be simply suffocating. 

Are the U.S. and Israel preparing for a strike on Iran around the time of the upcoming new moon on October 15th?

This is an even greater concern IMHO given the pattern of historic mass panics  climaxing into this mid-autumn new moon as identified in my earlier writings on the subject.

I sincerely hope and pray my conjectures here are totally off base and unreasonable, but this all seems to make too much sense.  If what I'm pointing out is accurate, then this weekend might be your last chance to put a plan together for evacuating and/or sheltering in place in the event of global nuclear war.  Please do so accordingly.
