This week will see the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of a new "Shemitah" year. Will this be the year of God's Judgment of this world? There's compelling reason to believe so.

Of course, I have tried to warn you all to apparently no avail...

A Break In Mass Psychology?

The stock market plunged today in the aftermath of the reelection of Barack Obama as American President with the DJIA closing below the psychologically important 13000 mark and the Nasdaq Composite closing below the 3000 mark:

Regardless of all the signs that Barack Hussein Obama is a threat to U.S. national security given the seemingly endless red flags in his background, the American people have opted to elect him to a second four-year term. Their choice has been made. America remains an ObamaNation.

Notably, today's plunge in stock prices was attributed to concerns that America is about to go over the "Fiscal Cliff". Further exacerbating today's sell-off, in the birthplace of democracy - Athens, Greece - rioting has erupted as the parliament there votes on a new round of stringent austerity measures, forced upon the Greek people by the European Central Bank, that are choking their nation to economic death:

Of course, the suffering of the Greek people, and debtors around the world, is to line the pockets of the ultra-rich financial elite headquartered on Wall Street.

Is God's judgment about to unfold accordingly?

Well....an interesting sign beyond the sharp reversal on Wall Street today is that a major Nor'easter is striking the New York City area today with wind, rain and snow in the wake of the havoc wrought by Superstorm Sandy last week. Remarkably, the name of this early winter storm is "Athena", the virgin patroness of Athens, Greece.

Coincidence? Or is God trying to signal something to us?

Is democracy succumbing to the evil effects of the "Money Masters"?

Harbinger Update - NY Governor Cuomo: "We don't just rebuild, we rebuild better"

For those who are familiar with "The Harbinger" by messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn, there's been a repeat of a defiant "utterance" to 'rebuild better' that parallels the prophecy of Isaiah 9:10 which foretold the destruction of ancient Israel.


This time Superstorm Sandy, a name that means "defending men", flooded out the Ground Zero memorial (hint, hint?!), and in response New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, declared: "I believe we don't just rebuild, we rebuild better."

Tonight, for the first time since the storm, the lights on One World Trade will turn on and construction will begin again. "I believe we don't just rebuild, we rebuild better. And that's what this site is all about, and that's what New York is all about," says Cuomo.

Here's the report that aired on CNN last night:

Governor Cuomo made the same sort of remarks toward the end of the following ABC News interview with Diane Sawyer while surveying the storm's damage at Ground Zero:

"It was the magic of this site and what it stands for; this is a monument to New York resilience. We're gonna build back and we're gonna build back better, and we did on this site and we will once again."

Governor Cuomo's comments eerily parallel the inscription placed by President Obama on one of the steel beams  that was made a symbolic part the framework of the new One World Trade Center tower set to replace the Twin Towers:

Again, this all echoes the attitude of ancient Israel to God's judgment in yesteryear prior to the complete destruction of that nation by the Assyrians as spelled out in Isaiah 9:10:
"The bricks have fallen down,
but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars."
Notably absent from Governor Cuomo's CNN and ABC interviews was discussion that God's wrath on America might be playing out for loving money and denying God - something symbolized by Ground Zero - such that we as a people are called upon to accept our Creator's role in the American story and plead forgiveness for turning away from Him if we are to truly rebuild on a firm foundation.

Just an FYI.

As noted in my April blog, "Jonathan Cahn: The Harbinger", there is an intriguing phenomenon surrounding the date of Elul 29 on the Jewish calendar.  As Rabbi Cahn discovered and spelled out in his book, The Harbinger, on this last day on the Jewish calendar in the last two Sabbatical Years, 2001 and 2008 (Sabbatical Years occur every seven years under Jewish tradition), two of the three largest point drops in the DJIA in stock market history occurred:



The plunge of just over 7 percent or nearly 700 points on 9/17/01, or 29 Elul 5761 on the Hebrew calendar, occurred in response to the 9/11 attacks.  The drop of 777.7 points or 7 percent on 9/29/08, or 29 Elul 5768 on the Hebrew calendar, took place in reaction to the U.S. Congress failing to approve the first vote for a Wall Street bailout during the financial crisis that year.

As pointed out in the section of my April blog dubbed, "The Mystery Of The Shmita & The Septennial Sabbatical Cycle", it's an incredible coincidence that two of the three largest point drops in the Dow struck on the last day of the seven-year Jewish Sabbatical cycle.  In fact, statistically the odds of this occurring are more than a million to one.

So maybe God's trying to make a point with us.  What point could that be?

Consider this.  9/11 involved massive strikes against the greatest symbols of American "Capitalism and Imperialism", i.e., the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon.  These attacks against the U.S. were carried out by Islamic extremists under the guidance of Communist forces. Islam purportedly represents "submission to God's will" and Communism purportedly signifies "sharing wealth equally".  In this context, one might well argue that 9/11 was a warning from God to America of the need to submit to God's will to share our wealth.

Needless to say, America, and Wall Street in particularly, failed to learn any lesson from 9/11.

Thus, unrestrained greed ran amok for another cycle and what emerged was a sub-prime mortgage bubble that epitomized financial corruption throughout our society.  Eventually the bubble burst, however, and when Wall Street didn't get the bailout it wanted from Main Street on 9/29/08, the second Elul 29 crash struck.  So too did a prolonged economic collapse as American Capitalism seemed to fail.

Yet, just as the 'Harbinger' prophecy from Isaiah 9:10 foretells, God's people still fail to get the divine message:

“The bricks have fallen down,
but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars.”

As President Obama puts it:




The truth is that rebuilding in contravention to God's will is ultimately futile.

I think what's key here is what Jews are called upon to do on the last day of the Sabbatical Year, Elul 29th:

When the Shmita (Sabbatical) year ends, personal debts which are due during that year are considered nullified and forgiven. The Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita and makes observance a test of religious faith. [Wiki]

Are the "creditors" of this world forgiving debts as their debts were forgiven by Christ?

I think not.

Now the question is, how is God the Author of this story in which we dwell going to respond to such disobedience?

I can't say for sure, but it seems I've long been pointing out a likely source of a future upset.  If Russia is indeed misleading the West and utilizing the Islamic world's hatred and anger toward us for the purpose of unleashing a surprise third world war, then this would clearly constitute a most profound punishment for our nation's sins.

Finally, this brings us to Elul 29 of this year.  While I doubt God has anything planned for the date this year, since this is not a Sabbatical Year (the next year ends in September of 2015 when I expect the cycle to reach its low), what I can say is that the stock market appears to be ending a diagonal triangle pattern that in the context of the Elliott Wave Principle indicates an extraordinarily sharp reversal may be imminent.  That something would occur in the wake of Ben Bernanke's offer to print more money galore seems symbolic in that the recent run-up on Wall Street in response is the epitome of misplaced faith in the false god of Mammon rather than the true God of Israel.  Meanwhile, the new moon approaches just as Israel has come to believe it has no other option but to strike Iran's nuclear weapons program. In fact the new moon occurs on Elul 29, which is September 16th on a Gregorian calendar.

Hurricane Isaac, Southern Decadence & God's Coming Judgment Of America

Hurricane Isaac is currently lashing the New Orleans area with heavy winds and rain. This comes seven years to the day of when Hurricane Katrina demolished the "Big Easy" on August 29th, 2005.

In my April blog, Jonathan Cahn: The Harbinger, I include a section dubbed "THE MYSTERY OF THE SHMITA & THE SEPTENNIAL SABBATICAL CYCLE" in which I identify what may be a 7-year cycle that has become more clearly defined in recent decades:

I believe this cycle is biblical in significance and has to do with underlying "manic-depressive" waves between sin and sin's consequences in human history described in my 2009 thesis. In this regard, the hurricanes afflicting New Orleans in recent years seems to be a profound case in point of this historical pattern.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. [Jude 1:7]

Isaac is the third hurricane to strike New Orleans over the past decade. Katrina struck in 2005, Gustav hit in 2008 and now this storm. All three storms have occurred in the days prior to Labor Day. Notably, this is when the homosexual "Southern Decadence" festival occurs in New Orleans each year:

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. [Nahum 1:3]

In 2005, the Southern Decadence festival was cancelled by Hurricane Katrina. Note that the name Katrina means "purity".

In 2008, the Southern Decadence celebration was cut short by Hurricance Gustav. Note that the name Gustav means 'Staff of God'.

Now, in 2012, the Southern Decadence festivities are threatened by Hurricane Isaac, a name that means "he laughs":

Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.

Isaac, Abraham's only begotten son, was almost sacrificed by his father at God's command....a story which is considered a parallel to how God sacrificed His Son Jesus on the Cross 2000 years ago to atone for man's sins.

What this all means I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't doubt that God is authoring this story we participate in. I suggest we cooperate accordingly.

Must see documentaries and interviews of Jonathan Cahn regarding parallels between the last days of ancient Israel and current events for America centered around the prophecy of Isaiah 9:10:

One of Cahn's most revealing points is that the "foundation" of the American Republic symbolically cracked on 9/11:

"....the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people." - George Washington, First Inaugural Address, New York City, April 30, 1789

Washington's inaugural address was made at Federal Hall after which America's governing representatives worshiped at nearby St. Paul's Chapel. These buildings are near ground zero in lower Manhattan, and on 9/11 the foundation of Federal Hall, where the American republic was 'founded', literally cracked.

There's some other points that the author seems to have overlooked.

Note how former Senator John Edwards is credited with making the "utterance" that seals America's judgment.




Cahn fails to note that Edwards shares the name of Jonathan Edwards, arguably the founding father of American Christianity:

*** THE MYSTERY OF THE SHMITA & THE SEPTENNIAL SABBATICAL CYCLE ***

Here's something really interesting.

In the segments about "The Mystery Of The Shemitah", Cahn points out how the two largest stock market crashes (in terms of Dow points) in 2001 and 2008 occurred on the same day on the Hebrew calendar: Elul 29, which marked the end of the last two "Sabbatical Years" (which occur every seven years). Given my own research findings regarding autumn panics based upon the Hebrew calendar, this really struck a chord.

Indeed, let's start with a simple probability analysis.

The nearly 700 point drop in the DJIA (just over 7%) on 9/17/2001 and 777.7 point drop in the DJIA on 9/29/2008 (just below 7%) were two of the three largest Dow point drops in U.S. history:



These drops occurred on the last day of the Sabbatical Years that occurred between 2000 and 2001 and between 2007 and 2008. This last day of the Sabbatical Year is when debts are to be forgiven per Jewish tradition:

The sabbath year, in Hebrew shmita (Hebrew: שמיטה‎, literally "release"), also called the Sabbatical Year, is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for the Land of Israel, and still observed in contemporary Judaism.

During Shmita, the land is left to lie fallow and all agricultural activity (including plowing, planting, pruning and harvesting) is forbidden by Torah law. Other cultivation techniques (such as watering, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, trimming and mowing) may be performed as a preventative measure only, not to improve the growth of trees or plants. Additionally, any fruits which grow of their own accord are deemed hefker (ownerless) and may be picked by anyone. A variety of laws also apply to the sale, consumption and disposal of Shmita produce. A second aspect of Shmita concerns debts and loans. When the Shmita year ends, personal debts which are due during that year are considered nullified and forgiven. The Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita and makes observance a test of religious faith.

Thus, in the last 15 years, there's only been two days when the Sabbatical Year ended, i.e., 9/17/2001 and 9/29/2008, and on these days two of the three largest point declines in the DJIA in U.S. history occurred. What are the odds of that?

Given 250 trading days per year, seven years entails 3500 possible days in 14 years. As for the last day of the Sabbatical Year, this occurs once every seven years. Since there were two of three days of significance, the odds of Elul 29, 5761 coinciding with one of the three worst point loss days is 1 in 1166. This would be the odds for the second hit as well, i.e., Elul 29, 5769, occurring on one of the three possible days. Thus, the odds for a coincidence of the last day in the Sabbatical Year in 2001 and 2008 both occurring on one of the three largest point declines in stock market history is the multiple of the two probabilities, i.e., one chance in 1361889. (It's actually more significant than this combinatorially since the three largest point declines could be measured against all U.S. stock trading days, but this analysis gives one a good idea of how unlikely such a "coincidence" is.)

So what does this "mean"?

The Sabbatical Year ends on Elul 29, the last day on the Hebrew calendar before the Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish new year. Over the last three decades, Sabbatical Years ended on the following days:

September 23rd, 1987 = Elul 29, 5747
September 5th, 1994 = Elul 29, 5754
September 17, 2001 = Elul 29, 5761
September 29, 2008 = Elul 29, 5769

All years were marked by major reversals in the stock market with acute declines in the autumn period:

[One might also note the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab surprise attack on Israel soon after the Sabbatical Cycle Year ended that time around.]

What is the nature of this cycle?



While my thesis highlights the manic-depressive character of these historical cycles, what Jonathan Cahn is helping to reveal is the cycles are also about sin and redemption, which is a key feature of the Judeo-Christian saga spelled out in the Bible.

The bottom line is this IMO. 'Forgiveness of debts' can be achieved one way or another. If those who claim to be doing "god's work" are serving Mammon contrary to God's will for mankind, then this will ultimately be corrected.

History as His Story

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama on Thursday toured the soaring skyscraper being built to replace the twin towers destroyed on September 11, 2001, in a poignant visit to mark a new chapter of recovery from the traumatic attack.

Inscribing one of the steel beams that will be part of the building's framework, Obama wrote: "We remember, we rebuild, we come back stronger!" followed by his signature.

God's Judgment nears...

In historical retrospect, it will be utterly perplexing to future generations how anyone questioned the existence of their Creator and associated responsibilities to their fellow man. But for now, the collective insanity persists, and the unfolding judgment is dismissed by unbelievers as "coincidence".

Most tragically, America's days are numbered. God's judgment is near IMHO.

Some Simple Math

Some simple math of current U.S. history. American "independence" = freedom from collective responsibility and God's Law = God's Judgment.

This freedom has served to enrich Wall Street banksters at everyone's expense, and when the fraudulent Ponzi scheme of modern 'Capitalism' started to fail in 2008, the guilty simply changed the 'accounting' rules and started printing money to try and cover up their ongoing misdeeds.

The reality is that there's a Creator to whom all creatures account regardless of what's popularly believed.

God's Judgment

This weekend Ted Kennedy's funeral took place ending an important chapter in American history. Appropriately, tropical storm Danny was absorbed into a weather front and rained down over the funeral procession in Boston. The name "Daniel" means "God is my judge". Truly, as has been revealed to me, America is facing God's judgment.


Some 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ made the following reply when quizzed about God's most important Law:

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Matthew 22:35-39)

Has America abided by this Law?

Near the end of the epilogue to My Thesis, I write the following:

The bottom line is that 'rational market theory', which has effectively become faith in the 'invisible hand' of Mammon, is leading to catastrophic failure.

"No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon." (Matthew 6:24)

Man has placed his faith in the wrong god and, consequently, is facing a total upset of his irrational beliefs and expectations.

What form will God's judgment take? What will precipitate the crash of Western Civilization the cycles of history indicate may be imminent?

This should be obvious, but, because the world is under the spell of the Antichrist's "strong delusion" as foretold by Paul, apparently only the select can see the truth.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (II Thessalonians 2:8-12)

Russia deems itself to be the Third Rome. Communism was done away with by Moscow's ruling elite to replace one false ideological front with another: Christianity.





That this is the case can easily be discerned by examining Russia's state emblem as adopted in 1992, right after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Here's an image of the central Coat of Arms:


Now here is the Byzantine Empire emblem that appears above the front entrance of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople which signifies the Second Rome:


The main difference is the central image in the Russian state emblem of St. George on a white horse slaying the satanic serpent....which, in a modern context, represents Russia slaying the satanic evil of the West.

There are, of course, rather dire implications for the world, and Western Civilization in particular, if, indeed, Russia fancies itself a Third Rome. First off, bear in mind that the concept of the "Third Rome" is parallel to the "Third Reich" of Nazi Germany:

The name Third Reich (Drittes Reich, "Third Reich") refers to the state as the successor to the Holy Roman Empire of the Middle Ages and the German Empire of 1871–1918. (Wikipedia)

Thus, the current mentality of the Kremlin is on par with that of Hitler's Third Reich. What's worse, Russia's identification with being a Third Rome means that the leader is upheld not just as a czar but, more so, as Czar of Czars, i.e., the incarnation of Christ (READ: "Czar" = C-zar = Caesar). In this sense, the utopian social goal of Communism is displaced by a utopian totalitarian goal of Russia's version of the kingdom of god. Also, since Jews are deemed to be responsible for the murder of Jesus, they are therefore the primary target of divine Russian retribution....thus making "Zionism", purportedly advanced by Israel and America, primary strategic targets of Moscow's thermonuclear machinations.

Of course, the truth of the matter is that Constantine I hijacked the message of Christ for personal deification in order to cement control over his empire. This is no different than what the modern-day ruling elite of Russia are up to.

The problem for Russia is that I'm back and have a far different vision for God's Kingdom....one premised on the American Ideal of man over government rather than vice versa. I suggest people pick sides accordingly.

Russia's Mission

The Russian Idea proceeded....from the belief that the contemporary world was suffering from a global spiritual crisis 'carrying humankind headlong toward catastrophe' (in the words of a present day prophet). It pointed to the inability of the secularized, materialistic and cosmopolitan West to come to grips with this crisis, whose historical source lay in the secular Enlightenment: in the West's rejection of religion as the spiritual basis of politics and in its inability to realize that not the individual but the nation is the foundation of the world order conceived by God; that 'humankind is quantified by nations'.

The Russian Idea pointed to the providential role of Orthodoxy, as uniquely capable of pulling back the world from the brink of the abyss, and to Russia as the instrument of this great mission. While the Russian Idea rejected the 'government's interference in the moral life of the people' (the police state), it also denounced the 'people's interference in state power' (democracy). To both of these it opposed the 'principle of AUTHORITARIAN power'. The state, it taught, must be unlimited because 'only under unlimited monarchial power can the people separate the government from themselves and free themselves to concentrate on moral-social life, on the drive for spiritual freedom'.

The Russian idea did not acknowledge the central postulate of Western political thought concerning the separation of powers (as the institutional embodiment of the neutralization of vice by vice). Instead, it advocated the principle of separation of functions between temporal and spiritual powers: the state guards the country against external foes and the Orthodox church settles the nation's internal conflicts....It cherished the ideal of the nation cum family, requiring neither parliaments, political parties, nor separation of powers. Like the family, the nation would have no need of legal guarnatees or institutional limitations on state's power and its focus should not be the rights, but rather the obligations of its members. The nation's conflicts, according to the Russian Idea, must be reconciled by spiritual, rather than constitutional, authority.

The ideal of the nation as family presupposed the need for salvation from the sinful influences of the 'street' (the West) and, consequently, from a spiritual rebirth and a moral revolution. In the course of this Russia would return 'home' to its pure rural roots, to the tsarist Rus'...

From outward appearances it would seem that the old Soviet Union has returned. A thing crucified, dead and buried has been resurrected. Four weeks after Vladimir Putin’s re-election, a procession led by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church arrived at the Church of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow. In keeping with ancient tradition the doors of the church were shut, symbolizing the sealed cave where Christ’s body was placed following crucifixion. “After midnight,” noted Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, “the Orthodox faithful taking part in the procession await the opening of the church doors. The patriarch stands on the steps at their head and is the first to enter the empty temple where the Resurrection of Christ has already occurred.” In due course the Patriarch offered up a prayer, the doors of the Church of Christ the Redeemer were opened and out stepped President Vladimir Putin. If any Christians were present for this ceremony they offered no protest to this blatant sacrilege. The woman who reported this event for the benefit of Western readers has since been assassinated. Note that Vladimir Putin took power in Moscow on December 31st, 1999, at the turn of the Millenium. Given that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, Putin's rise to power was supposed to symbolize how Christ rose on the third day, i.e., on January 1st, 2000, the holy (the term is used loosely here) Russian empire (i.e., the "Third Rome") and its 'tsar of tsars' (i.e., king of kings) "resurrected".
