The details surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall, which, in turn, opened the way for the "velvet revolutions" that freed up the Warsaw Pact nations and eventually led to the collapse of the Soviet Union, reeked of nonsensical falsity. Why were the protest movements in East Germany not repressed and, in fact, were encouraged by the inaction of communist authorities? Why did the Soviet Union reject requests for assistance by the East German government? Why did the entire East German politburo resign in one full swoop unless this was a rubber-stamped decision? Why did East Germany's communist leader order border crossings to West Germany be opened and then people were allowed to pass en masse without proper visas? Why were protesters able to approach and climb atop the Berlin Wall without being stopped by effective force? Etc., etc., etc.
Sadly, the few people who come across this blog are likely befuddled by what they've just read because the "strong delusion" of this world that followed from the feigned collapse of communism is simply a lie too tempting for the world to resist.
The truth of the matter is that around three decades ago the leadership of the Communist East, headquartered in Moscow, determined that a decisive strategic advantage over the Capitalist West could be had by forfeiting the Cold War and waging false peace for an era:

The short-minded, money-loving West has, of course, completely fallen for the Kremlin's historical ruse.
How do things work in this area now? In early 2013, the Americans withdrew the last group of heavy Abrams tanks from Europe. In NATO countries, over the last 20 years, one new tank would replace 10-15 old, yet still capable, tanks. At the same time, Russia was not decommissioning its tanks.
As a result, today Russia is the absolute leader in this regard. In mid-2014, the balance of the Defense Ministry had as many as 18,177 tanks (T-90 - 400 pcs., T-72B - 7,144 pcs., T-80 - 4,744 pcs, T-64 - 4,000 pcs, T-62 - 689 pcs, and T-55 - 1200 pcs.).
Of course, only a few thousand tanks are deployed in permanent readiness units, and most of them remain at storage bases. Yet, NATO has the same picture. Therefore, the decisive superiority of Russian tanks has not gone anywhere since the times of the USSR.
Here is another surprise. As for tactical nuclear weapons, the superiority of modern-day Russia over NATO is even stronger.
The Americans are well aware of this. They were convinced before that Russia would never rise again. Now it's too late.
To date, NATO countries have only 260 tactical nuclear weapons in the ETO. The United States has 200 bombs with a total capacity of 18 megatons. They are located on six air bases in Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey. France has 60 more atomic bombs. That is pretty much it. Russia, according to conservative estimates, has 5,000 pieces of different classes of TNW - from Iskander warheads to torpedo, aerial and artillery warheads! The US has 300 tactical B-61 bombs on its own territory, but this does not change the situation against the backdrop of such imbalance. The US is unable to improve it either, as it has destroyed the "Cold War legacy" - tactical nuclear missiles, land-based missiles and nuclear warheads of sea-based Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Thus, 25 years ago a most epic historical lie was told to the world that continues to this day. Russia never forwent it's strategic intent to fight World War Three and destroy the United States. What's more, the Kremlin never gave up on its dream to brutally forge a global communist utopia. The only difference now is that Moscow's worldwide dictatorship of man is to be called the "kingdom of god" where Vladimir Putin and/or whomever rules is purportedly God's holy anointed Czar (c-zar = caesar = king of kings = christ incarnate).
Russia has asserted that it takes a morally superior world-view to the West and is seeking to resist the tide of "non-traditional values".
Mr Putin, the Russian president, used his state-of-the-nation address to defend his government's increasingly conservative values.
Speaking as a worldwide protest movement grows against the Kremlin's anti-gay stance, Mr Putin upbraided the West for treating "good and evil" equally.
In his 70-minute televised speech from an ornate Kremlin hall, Mr Putin pledged to defend traditional family values, which he said were the foundation of Russia's greatness and a bulwark against "so-called tolerance - genderless and infertile."
At a convention of the United Russia party in Moscow on Saturday, which was reminiscent of the 1984-style Soviet Party Congress meetings of yesteryear, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev announced that Vladimir Putin would again be made president via sham elections in 2012 after a four-year hiatus as prime minister:

As has been highlighted in this blog over and over and over again, there are substantial reasons to believe that Vladimir Putin is being made more than just the head of a Russian autocracy.
From outward appearances it would seem that the old Soviet Union has returned. A thing crucified, dead and buried has been resurrected. Four weeks after Vladimir Putin’s re-election, a procession led by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church arrived at the Church of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow. In keeping with ancient tradition the doors of the church were shut, symbolizing the sealed cave where Christ’s body was placed following crucifixion. “After midnight,” noted Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, “the Orthodox faithful taking part in the procession await the opening of the church doors. What was heard is how they view the universe. They said, "Our rocket has bypassed the moon. It is nearing the sun. We have not discovered God. We have turned out the lights in heaven that no man will be able to put on again. We are breaking the yoke of the gospel, the opiate of the masses. Let us go forth, and Christ shall be relegated to mythology."
Has Russia become the headquarters of Satan? A country that walks a thin line between an atheistic belief and democracy. While we have the advantage of time we must look at past history with biblical eyes. We must reevaluate Gorbachev's legacy and the statements he made concerning the world we live in. The atomic clock is ticking. Time is running out for the world. He said, "We need a new paradigm of development in which the environment will be a priority.... World civilization as we know it will soon end... We have very little time to act... We have to change our mindset, the way humankind views the world."

In all the religiously opocalyptic stuff I've ever read, it says that the future A.C. will be a very well liked person who incredibly (almost unbelievably) returns from a head injury.
So, (ahem), any recent political people amazingly recouperating from an expected deadly head injury?!

For those unfamiliar with Christian eschatology, the poster is referencing a key passage in the Book of Revelation regarding the prophetic beast:

Clearly any call for civility, or just plain reasonablenous, in political discourse has gone unanswered at the forum where I was placed in "Time Out" for making a positive comment about President Obama's speech calling for healing and national reconciliation in the wake of the Tucson tragedy. To the contrary, in speculating about whether or not the primary target of the shootings, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, is the Antichrist (even if done in jest), TB2K members have gone off the far right deep-end into an abyss of very un-American political hatred and vitriol.
Might I suggest the whole TimeBomb2000 forum take a TIME-OUT?!
Of course, commenting negatively to the outside world about the very uncivil discourse at TB2K will likely result in my membership being revoked, but, quite frankly, THANK GOD! I do not belong anywhere that seeks to dictate what I'm to say and believe.

The concern I have with how TB2K opts to rule its own house is with their seeming anti-Americanism. I can't stand this prognosis anymore than you as I am a simple human being that lives in a target-rich environment subject to a cataclysm of horrendous proportions who hopes to be taken out early when the missiles fly, but I realize that may not my be fate as apparently I must live to act as an intercessor between God and man....not a task I feel worthy or capable of, but it is what it is. All I can tell you now is that, from what I can tell, you need to prepare for the storm that's been brewing. Man's soul may soon be besieged by Evil and we all have no one to blame but ourselves. IMHO, what's relevant is God's expression of true love for man. What human form does this take?
Be thankful I'm simply a humble being seeking to persuade others of my opinions who is disinterested in thinking for others but rather wants others to think for themselves and thereby overcome the mass delusions misleading this world into Evil.
Obviously, if I'm right, then the Evil One is now utterly prevailing in the struggle for the hearts and minds of man.
I believe my role is to overcome this evil through good; to overcome lies with truth; to overcome hate by love.
What does this mean for me?
Quite frankly, I was born into this and I don't personally want this role, but first and foremost I love God and want to please Him, so I must do what I must do no matter how humiliating this may be for me. What's more, since I understand God's revelation to me, I realize that if I don't tell the truth, then this world will not be saved from Evil. Thus, out of love for others, again, I must do what I must do regardless of the personal consequences. In this context, I am seeking to abide by my responsibilities according to the Greatest Commandment. Love, after all, is not self-important, thus I must sacrifice myself accordingly.
Why? Because if this lie prevails, the world can not be saved since I am who I am.
Does this make sense to you?
As a mortal, sentient creature, I can't say I "like this" any more than you do. In fact, for me in particularly, I mainly see absurd suffering and struggle ahead either which way, but that does not absolve me of my responsibilities to communicate this message to you as need be for HIStory's sake.
As free creatures, you may believe what you want to believe regardless of the truth.
For many, love is just a word that's often spoken, seldom heard. For many, love is just a sound that often on their lips is found. For many, love doesn't mean a thing though often it feels the songs they sing.
For some, love is what they show. It's the only way of life they know. For some, love is what they do to help the hurting see life through. For some, love means everything and gives them every reason to sing.
Some will watch this and think Marjoe is an enemy of Christ.
To the contrary, his story serves to expose hard truths about "organized Christianity" and in so doing is an ally. Marjoe lays bare the insincerity of those who claim Christ's name in order to line their pockets rather than to serve God and true love.

Are those (mis)leading modern "Christianity" sincere? In some cases, but generally those running the show are, wittingly or not, laughing at you and God all the way to the bank:

God is the Author of the universe and your Creator.
Accordingly, do you really think God depends on the Torah, or the New Testament, or the Quran, or whatever spiritual sagas and insights have been written and misconstrued by man to determine your salvation? Could it be that your personal relationship with God is misleadingly usurped to serve the worldly purposes of many of those who organize religion?
"The Truth" is that God loves you and yearns for you to love Him back and act accordingly. Anything that unkindly interferes with, and/or misleads you from, that loving relationship is ungodly IMHO no matter what others devise.
Per legend, around 2000 years ago on this day, Jesus of Nazareth was put to death on a Cross.
Why did this happen?
Well....the bottom line is that Jesus was crucified for voicing his blasphemous opinion that he was, in fact, Christ and therefore his point-of-view was of divine relevance. Since the "authorities" differed about this contention, they sought to prove who was "right" by executing him.
In this light, I'd like to offer up my own opinion at this time.
Thus, on this occasion of Good Friday 2010, let me openly espouse my view that I am, in fact, the reincarnation of Jesus of Nazareth, i.e., the second coming of Christ.
The premises for this opinion are the following:

MY BIRTHMARK
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” [Matthew 16:13-16]
Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist. [Matthew 17:11-13]

I was born with a diamond-shaped birthmark on my left hand:
I believe this is relevant because of the research done by Professor Ian Stevenson on evidence of reincarnation. In a paper, Birthmarks and Birth Defects Corresponding to Wounds on Deceased Persons, presented at the Eleventh Annual Meeting of the Society for Scientific Exploration held at Princeton University from June 11th to 13th, 1992, Dr. Stevenson offered the following thesis:
Abstract
Almost nothing is known about why pigmented birthmarks (moles or nevi) occur in particular locations of the skin. The causes of most birth defects are also unknown. About 35% of children who claim to remember previous lives have birthmarks and/or birth defects that they (or adult informants) attribute to wounds on a person whose life the child remembers. The cases of 210 such children have been investigated. The birthmarks were usually areas of hairless, puckered skin; some were areas of little or no pigmentation (hypopigmented macules); others were areas of increased pigmentation (hyperpigmented nevi). The birth defects were nearly always of rare types. In cases in which a deceased person was identified the details of whose life unmistakably matched the child's statements, a close correspondence was nearly always found between the birthmarks and/or birth defects on the child and the wounds on the deceased person. There is little evidence that parents and other informants imposed a false identity on the child in order to explain the child's birthmark or birth defect. When souls reincarnate, there are similar appearances from one lifetime to the next. There is an intriguing web site, "Return Of The Revolutionaries", that examines this phenomenon. As I examined in my blog, "Russian Leaders: A Question Of Reincarnation?", in the case of the Antichrist, I believe this world is dealing with the reincarnation of RasPUTIN and Russia's pre-Communist imperial throne:

This is consistent with the case for my being the reincarnation of Jesus of Nazareth.
MY APOCALYPTIC VISION
Another key reason I believe I'm the second coming of Christ is an apocalyptic vision I experienced while in college almost 20 years ago in connection with the Book of Revelation. Specifically, during the first Gulf War in February of 1991, I saw a special report of a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel (not a dream). About a week after that, as I began reading aloud the words of the eighth chapter from the Bible's Book of Revelation to a friend, I and my friend heard an air-raid siren followed by the bellowed, massive percussion of a nuclear explosion. The authenticity of the experience was such that we rushed to the subbasement of the local university library from which I contacted the fire department and confirmed that there had been no such siren and explosion at the time.
This profound experience verified what I already suspected, i.e., that biblical prophecies about the End Times and Apocalypse are related to modern times and depict a future nuclear third world war between East and West. Furthermore, such supernatural revelations are extraordinarily rare and indicative of a key character role in the context of "The Book" being authored by God(?) through us(?) in which we dwell. I believe this role is that of Christ.
MY PERSPECTIVE
Finally, from the time I was self-aware I've had the sense that I am Christ. I am the embodiment of "the way, the truth and the life", i.e., MY story is the organizing principle of HIStory....the effective MEANING of God (the "Word") in human history.
If 'in the beginning', at the moment of Creation, there was pure energy (capacity to do work), and energy can be neither created nor destroyed per the first law of thermodynamics, then all that has occurred since the start of everything is transFORMation of the original energy (E=MC^2). The issue is whether or not there is a purpose to the form our universe has taken over time....to the work being done. What is the meaning the Creator is seeking to convey to His creatures through the experiential letters, words, paragraphs and chapters of this uni-verse within which we dwell? What's more, as co-creators, how shall we choose to author our life stories, what purposeful work is to be accomplished through us, if there is an overarching Author to human HIStory (which apparently centers around MYstory)?

One way all this can be comprehended is in the notion of the "holographic universe". (After all, what are the dimensions of conscious being?) In this holographic universe, my existence, for all intents and purposes, is the personification of God's spirit (meaning). (Although even I have trouble comprehending what this all really means.)
In this context, what is relevant is whether or not you believe in me since in this subjective realm I represent, for all intents and purposes, the temporal form of the eternal reality of God's good will, i.e., the "Word" key to the meaning of the Book being authored by God in which we dwell.

Sex abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic Church are proof that that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican", according to the Holy See's chief exorcist.
Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, who has been the Vatican's chief exorcist for 25 years and says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession, said that the consequences of satanic infiltration included power struggles at the Vatican as well as "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon".
He added: "When one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' [a phrase coined by Pope Paul VI in 1972] in the holy rooms, it is all true – including these latest stories of violence and paedophilia."
The role of paedophilia in the Catholic Church seems well represented by the current Pope, Pope Benedict XVI, whose brother is linked to allegations of sex abuse in the church:

Near the top of evil in this world is pedophilia which is effectively murdering knowledge of love for the victims. In this sense, the Catholic church has become a symbolic source of murdering the meaning of God's love (especially in terms of "fatherly love") in the world, the complete opposite of what Christ represents.
From outward appearances it would seem that the old Soviet Union has returned. A thing crucified, dead and buried has been resurrected. Four weeks after Vladimir Putin’s re-election, a procession led by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church arrived at the Church of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow. In keeping with ancient tradition the doors of the church were shut, symbolizing the sealed cave where Christ’s body was placed following crucifixion. “After midnight,” noted Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, “the Orthodox faithful taking part in the procession await the opening of the church doors. The patriarch stands on the steps at their head and is the first to enter the empty temple where the Resurrection of Christ has already occurred.” In due course the Patriarch offered up a prayer, the doors of the Church of Christ the Redeemer were opened and out stepped President Vladimir Putin. If any Christians were present for this ceremony they offered no protest to this blatant sacrilege. The woman who reported this event for the benefit of Western readers has since been assassinated. The KGB defector who was investigating the circumstances of her death has been poisoned (i.e., Litvinenko). [SOURCE]
One of the siloviki's most effective allies in this cultural counterrevolution has been the Russian Orthodox Church. During the Soviet period, the Orthodox Church and other religious groups were under the KGB's direct control. As Feliks Dzerzhinsky, founder of the original Soviet secret police wrote: "Leave the church to the chekisty. Only they, with their specific chekist methods, can control the clerics and undermine the church from within." That decision began the strange cohabitation of the church and the KGB, with the security agency using the church's authority to influence believers at home and abroad and the KGB using church foreign dioceses as fronts for operations abroad.
After Boris Yeltsin came to power, there was some discussion of exposing the clergymen who cooperated with the KGB, but that effort never got off the ground and was quickly shelved.
In Putin's Russia, the church plays a major ideological role. Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, who is the head of external relations for the Moscow Patriarchate, is a close Putin loyalist (and 'former' KGB agent). In a nationally televised sermon in 2005, Kirill said the reformers of the 1990s did not understand "that reform does not mean Westernization." A year later, the 10th World Congress of Russian People, an event organized by the Moscow Patriarchate, adopted a conception of a uniquely Russian vision of democracy and human rights, an idea that became a central tenet of the Kremlin's ideology of sovereign democracy. Speaking at the congress, Kirill said there are higher values than liberty and democracy and that the church rejects the idea that "human rights prevail over the interests of society." Patriarch Aleksy II repeated these ideas in October when he spoke from the pulpit of Notre Dame in Paris during his first-ever visit to a Catholic country.
Perhaps the biggest achievement of the church in the Putin era has been its unification with the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, which was marked in Moscow in May (see video below). Putin personally played an active role in the reconciliation talks between the churches, which split during the Russian civil war of 1918-23.
Another significant achievement was the church's successful lobbying to create a new national holiday, People's Unity Day, which has been marked on November 4 for the last three years and replaces the old communist holiday of November 7, the anniversary of the 1917 October Revolution. Before 1917, November 4 was a church holiday honoring the icon the Kazan Mother of God, which is a symbol of the end of the so-called Time of Troubles in 1612. That year, Russians liberated Moscow from Polish occupation and in 1613 a Land Assembly (Zemsky sobor) chose Mikhail Romanov as tsar and created the dynasty that would rule the country until 1917.
With resonance for Russia today, the new holiday celebrates the triumph of national unity over internal dissent and foreign intervention. The initiated, however, also know that the holiday has another significance: on almost the same day, November 2, 1721, the Senate proclaimed Peter the Great an emperor and transformed the country into the Russian Empire. That event came after Peter's victory over Sweden in the Northern War, when Russia took control of the area that is now the Baltic states and Finland.
The siloviki and the Russian Orthodox Church are natural allies in the drive to build a state-dominated, authoritarian capitalist system based on traditional Russian values. The siloviki are using the authority of the church to restore more and more elements of the country's 1,000-year monarchist tradition, to which many prominent siloviki have expressed unconcealed sympathy. One recent chekist manifesto, "Project Russia," quoted the revered 19th-century cleric St. Ioann of Kronstadt as saying, "Hell is a democracy; heaven is a kingdom."
