The so-called 9/11 Truth movement is about as far from the truth as you can get. For what really happened on 9/11 and with the WTC Bombing in 1993, the most important analyst is Dr. Laurie Mylroie, author of Study of Revenge: The First World Trade Center Attack and Saddam Hussein's War against America (American Enterprise Institute, 2001).
Dr. Mylroie judiciously examined the evidence from the trial of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing suspects and came across a very compelling case against Iraq as having a hidden hand in the attack. The case that she makes is that Ramzi Yousef, the terrorist mastermind behind the first attempt to take down the Twin Towers, sought to assume a false identity of a real Kuwaiti, Abdul Basit, who was likely killed when Iraq occupied the Emirate in 1990-1991. Since this Kuwaiti's interior ministry file was tampered with and contained the actual fingerprints of Ramzi Yousef it is reasonable to believe Iraq was behind the creation of a legend for the key terrorist behind the '93 World Trade Center bombing.
As presented in my own work, the same case that Dr. Mylroie makes against Iraq regarding Ramzi Yousef can be made regarding Saddam's complicity in 9/11 based upon the identity of Abdul Basit's uncle, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the admitted terrorist mastermind for the successful attempt to take down the Twin Towers in 2001...
