Staging World War Three: First Kiev, Now Kharkiv?

Bookmark and Share

"History is a capricious creature. It depends on who writes it." - Former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev

"The events witnessed by our country and the whole world are an example of a coup d'etat." - Former (?) Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych

My guess is that the world is now about to witness a popular revolt and bloodshed in Kharkiv, Ukraine in the wake of the apparently successful popular "EuroMaidan" revolution in Kiev.

Why?

One reason is that riot police shields were being distributed to demonstrators there this evening as can be seen in the following video (particularly toward the end it's clear this crowd is not police):

When demonstrators in Kiev started to appear with riot police shields, at least it could be explained by prior scuffles where shields might have been torn away from police:

As for Kharkiv, the story is being set ahead of time.

Another telltale sign that trouble is about to unfold in Kharkiv is a large stage has been setup for demonstrators similar to the one in Kiev's Independence Square:

I presume authorities, as in Kiev, will fail to cut the power to the lighting and speaker system in a timely way for whatever is planned in Kharkiv.

Finally, Since Kharkiv is a city split evenly between Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking peoples that lies just 24 miles from the Russian border, it's reasonable to guess that its the location selected by Moscow for a flash point between East and West.

That this is where the Ukraine crisis is heading can be surmised from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's conversation with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry today:

Russian Foreign Minister telephoned U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday and complained about ongoing violence in Ukraine, blaming the opposition for it.

"Lavrov drew [Kerry's] attention to the fact that, after the signature on February 21 of the agreement between the Ukrainian government and opposition, the situation in that country deteriorated sharply because of the inability or unwillingness of the opposition forces to respect the terms of the agreement, which had been concluded with the active participation of Germany, Poland and France," the ministry said in a statement posted on its website, www.mid.ru.

"The illegal extremist groups refuse to surrender their weapons and are de facto taking control of Kyiv with the connivance of the opposition leaders in the Verkhovna Rada [parliament]," it said.

"The Russian minister reminded the secretary of state that this issue was discussed in detail in yesterday's telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama, in which the Russian President called upon the American leader to make use of all resources to prevent illegal activities by radicals and bring the situation back into the constitutional framework," the statement said.

"Kerry reaffirmed the United States' loyalty to the agreement of February 21 and promised to make urgent use of Washington's means of pressure on the opposition," it said. [KyivPost]

So you see....whatever happens from here on out in the Ukraine is the West's fault because President Barack Obama is able to tell the protesters and Ukrainian members of parliament what to do. Of course, one question is: Who told Ukraine President Yanukovych to leave Kiev right after signing his agreement with the opposition? Certainly this facilitated the collapse of his government today.

Notably, one would think the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Poland would have been a little more prudent when invited to negotiate the February 21st agreement between Kiev protesters and the Yanukovych government. After all, Moscow's trying to paint the picture that the civil unrest in the Ukraine is the fault of the "imperialist" EU and US, so why act directly on behalf of the Kiev protesters and fulfill that story line? Of course, this is why these Western representatives were invited to negotiate on behalf of the demonstrators in the first place, i.e., to cement the West's culpability for whatever comes next.

The problem is, Western intelligence and leaders are too stupid to realize they are being played.

And if you don't think stupidity is essential to believe what the world is being told about events in the Ukraine, just consider how the Ukraine's parliament unanimously voted to remove Viktor Yanukovych from his presidency today. Really? The entire parliament switched to the "EU"-side of the EuroMaidan demonstrators just like that?!

It's remarkable how gullible this world is. I imagine Vladimir Putin and his satanic cronies are very thankful for everyone's mindless cooperation in their own destruction and subjugation.

I choose to resist...

Yanukovych flees Ukraine? - Russian military intervention possible

The official narrative unfolding in the Ukraine is that the nationalist Ukrainian population in the Western part of the country, backed by the US and EU, have erupted in protest, the so-called "EuroMaidan", to overthrow the corrupt government of Viktor Yanukovych who is supported by Russia and the Russian-speaking Ukrainian populations in the East and South of the nation. The apparent trigger for the uprising was a decision by the Yanukovych-led government in late-November 2013 to suspend preparations for signing an Association Agreement and a Free Trade Agreement with the European Union, in favor of closer economic relations with Russia. Since that time a large-scale uprising in Kiev and many Western regions of the Ukraine has unfolded that has included protesters forming a large encampment in the capitol city's "Independence Square" defended by long barricades of burning cars, tires, wood, etc.

Now apparently the crisis playing out in the Ukraine is coming to a head.

Earlier today an 'ultimatum' was issued for President Yanukovych to resign or protesters will resort to armed force to unseat him from power tomorrow morning (hit "CC" for English closed captions with the video below):

Recent word is that President Yanukovych flew out of Kiev purportedly for Kharkiv but he reportedly never arrived there. Rumors are circulating that the Ukrainian leader has fled to another country.

Obviously, if Russia's man in the Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, has been forced from power, then the stage is likely set for a major geopolitical crisis between East and West, and this, I believe, is the point.

The story unfolding before the world's eyes in the Ukraine seems to make sense on the surface, but when one takes a close critical look at what's going on, some serious questions emerge.

If, indeed, the government of Viktor Yanukovych had been serious about ending the protests that literally took over the main streets in Kiev, then there's some important questions that need to be answered.

1. Why were protesters never pushed back from main thoroughfares in Kiev like Khreshchatyk Street? Even "Occupy Wall Street" protesters never occupied Wall Street.

2. Why was cell phone service and/or electrical power never cutoff in the areas of Kiev where protesters setup their encampments? The only related article I could find to this question indicates backup electrical generators were made ready by opposition members of parliament for the protesters, but this leaves open the question why central city authorities never forced the use of any generators, which would have limited power and fuel supplies, by simply cutting off electricity to areas of Kiev occupied by protester encampments.

3. One place the amply-supplied electricity has been put to good use by EuroMaidan protesters is in brightly lighting and supplying greatly amplified sound to their huge, professionally setup stage which even includes a large screen display visible from great distances.

Yeah....WTH is that all about?!

4. Why was a rogue protester permitted to take over the stage podium and announce the February 22nd "ultimatum" for President Yanukovych to resign before protesters resort to armed force?

5. Why have protesters had such an easy time occupying city hall and many other highly symbolic public buildings in Kiev (and throughout the Ukraine for that matter)?

UPDATE: Oh my....they got a giant stage up for the protesters in Kharkiv as well....this some 20 miles from the border with Russia!:

Seriously....WTF is really going on in the Ukraine?!

Here's the deal.

I have no doubt that the vast majority of protesters are sincere in their actions and I also have no doubt that Russian/Ukrainian special services injured and murdered a good many of these common folk. The Kremlin knows full well this is how to start a civil war:

Nevertheless, the uprising's original generation and growth was FACILITATED AND FOSTERED more so than countered by Russian and Ukrainian secret services.

Why?

Ukraine is a critical East-versus-West linchpin and this is all about setting the stage for a third world war that will be blamed on Western aggression toward Russia rather than vice versa....after all, Russian astrologers predicted this years ago.

Hey, but don't worry, after the dust settles from the Kremlin's ultimate act of premeditated mass murder, Vladimir Putin's "Orthodox Church" will save whatever is left of the world:

HEY PUTIN!....YOU AND YOUR SATANIC COMRADES CAN GO STRAIGHT BACK TO THE HELL YOU CAME FROM!!!...

Ukraine Crisis Live Coverage Links

I suspect what's happening in the Ukraine is crafted by Russian/Ukraine intelligence services as part of a larger strategic plan by Moscow (Ukraine is a key East vs. West linchpin). While the vast majority involved believe in what they are doing, the opposition is likely controlled, or at least intentionally left uncontrolled, to shape the story the world is being told. (Note, for example, the ease with which protesters have had in occupying government buildings throughout the country.) Ultimately I believe the Ukraine crisis will feed into the well-planned (by the Kremlin) outbreak of World War Three.

Where will this all end?

The Kremlin has had a plan all along (written by Alexander Yanov in 1978!)
