Today a former Israeli ambassador to the U.N. stated on Fox News, 'I'd rather be sleeping in the next few weeks in New York City or Tel Aviv then Iran':
Is he indicating that an Israeli strike on Iran is imminent? I suspect so.
There's an unsubstantiated rumor in Israel that an attack on Iran's nuclear sites is planned for Yom Kippur, September 28th. I believe the time of this high Jewish holiday might be chosen to attack for three reasons:
1. The element of surprise. Yom Kippur, the Jewish "Day of Atonement", is very holy and thus not a time during which one would expect Israel to engage in such bold military action.
2. To reverse the precedent of the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab surprise attack on Israel.
3. To take advantage of the shutdown of Israeli society such that civil defense from retaliation by Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and/or Syria will be eased since the Jewish people will mostly be home and easily alerted so they can shelter in place or rapidly head to local bomb shelters.
There are other signs that an Israeli strike on Iran may be close-at-hand. First off, Israeli submarines and naval vessels that crossed the Suez Canal during the summer remain in position for a potential strike. Secondly, two days ago U.S. naval missile ships started arriving in Israel for a joint missile defense exercise between the IDF and the American military's European Command. This means Israel has maximum capacity for defense against retaliatory missile attacks in the coming days and weeks (also SEE THIS). Third, there's the mystery of the Arctic Sea and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's secret trip to Russia.
Whether or not Israel opts to strike Iran on Yom Kippur will be known shortly, but, regardless of any precise timing, what's clear is that the stock market is approaching the Elliott Wave Primary Wave 2 peak after which Primary Wave 3 down in the Grand Supercycle bear market will unfold that, as I've long been warning, will likely reflect the crash of Western Civilization. More specifically, the DJIA is now near the 10,000 mark which is a likely psychological benchmark from which mass mood will reverse.
Indeed, we may be seeing an eerie repeat of the historical pattern that unfolded in 1973 when the Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli war erupted just as the DJIA reached the 1000 mark in October of that year:
Importantly, this connects back to the July total solar eclipse that belonged to the same Saros series as a total solar eclipse in June of 1973.
As explained in the section on seasonality in the epilogue to Manic-Depressive Man, maximum panic in the 1929 and 1987 U.S. stock market crashes, the 1997 Hong stock market crash and the financial crisis last October all occurred into the same days on the Jewish lunar-based calendar, i.e., the 27th and 28th days of the 7th lunar month (which equates to 11 days after Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles):
Furthermore, this timeframe on the lunar calendar marked the highest DEFCON nuclear alert levels ever reached during the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and October 1973 Yom Kippur Arab-Israeli War.
Will a global panic involving an actual outbreak of nuclear war occur into 11 days after the Feast of Tabernacles, i.e., October 14th, this time around?
It's looking increasingly possible.
All in all, we have the DJIA potentially ready to reverse from Dow 10,000 into a Grand Supercycle Primary Wave 3 crash going into the seasonal period during which major financial panics and East-West nuclear confrontations tend to occur. That these developments are in place as signs emerge of a possibly imminent Israeli military strike on Iran suggests strongly that my 1991 apocalyptic vision could be near fulfillment.
Again, the vision I had was two-fold. First, in early February of 1991, during the first Gulf War, I saw a special report of a chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel. A week or so after experiencing this vision, I heard an air-raid siren and nuclear explosion along with a friend as I started reading to him the 8th chapter from the Book of Revelation:
I've spent a good part of the last 18+ years trying to warn the world of the coming Apocalypse.
Unfortunately, almost no one has been interested, and now we may be under the gun.
