`NK commander who led Cheonan-Yeonpyeong attacks fired`

Kim Kyuk Sik (photo), commander of the 4th Corps of the Chosun People`s army, appears to have been fired, sources said Monday. He is known to be one of those who initiated last year`s attacks on the South Korean naval vessel Cheonan and Yeonpyeong Island.
A source said, “Kim must have been dismissed given all of the circumstances up to now." Another source said, “It seems that Kim has not yet been promoted at least."
Kim was not on the list of the funeral committee for Kim Jong Il announced Monday last week and has not yet visited the funeral site. South Korean intelligence, however, says the commander`s dismissal is not a soft approach gesture that North Korea wants to show to South Korea.
In February 2009, Kim Kyuk Sik was appointed commander of the corps governing Hwanghae Province and the Northern Limit Line in the Yellow Sea after serving as a chief of staff of the North Korean (Chosun) People`s Army. After the replacement of the corps commander last month, many rumors were milled over whether he was demoted or promoted to new supreme leader Kim Jong Un`s military adviser.
In the meantime, the official Workers` Party daily Rodong Shinmun said, "All party entities across the country support our great compatriot Kim Jong Un`s ideology and leadership. Let us safeguard the party`s central committee led by our respectful Kim Jong Un."
North Korean media covered stories on support for Kim Jong Un as head of the central committee and top military commander Sunday.
In North Korea, the leader is supposed to lead the people through the party. The succession will be complete only if Kim Jong Un becomes leader or general secretary of the party.
Yang Moo-jin, a professor at the University of North Korean Studies in Seoul, said, "This implies that Pyongyang will move fast to end the power succession process. Kim Jong Un will be appointed the party`s general secretary at the general assembly of the party`s central committee in the foreseeable future."

North Korea's ambassador to China is purportedly missing and rumored to be in Pyongyang. Meanwhile, Chinese President Hu Jintao reportedly went to the North Korean embassy in Beijing to try to meet the ambassador. This all may be suggestive that a power struggle is currently underway in North Korea.

How was Iran able to capture a RQ-170 Sentinel drone? This is an incredible feat that seems way beyond Iran's capacity. Presuming the Islamic Republic had some Russian and/or Chinese assistance, the real issue that comes to mind is....was this a way of further pressuring Israel to strike Iran on its own, i.e., without U.S. support and knowledge? The condition of the RQ-170 intact obliges the US and Israel to make major changes in plans for a potential strike against Iran's nuclear program.
The Obama administration's decision after internal debate not to send US commando or air units into Iran to retrieve or destroy the secret RQ-170 stealth drone which fell into Iranian hands has strengthened the hands of the Israeli faction which argues the case for striking Iran's nuclear installations without waiting for the Americans to make their move.
Senior Israeli diplomatic and security officials who followed the discussion in Washington concluded that, by failing to act, the administration has left Iran not only with the secrets of the Sentinel's stealth coating, its sensors and cameras, but also with the data stored in its computer cells on targets marked out by the US and/or Israeli for attack.

Once the burden is no longer popularly deemed tenable, as evidenced by drops in sovereign credit ratings, the colossal bubble of mass optimism implodes. It's about finding the maxima of collective human creative potential before "correcting" the trend.

The vast majority of the time, Puetz eclipse crash windows prove irrelevant, but what can be said is major panics are unlikely to occur outside such occasions.
In recent days the crises in Syria and Egypt have been coming to a head along side the confrontation between Israel and Iran. Throw Kosovo into the mix, and maybe Korea too, and it's not to hard to see how an all-out East-West conflict will be the outcome. That this will come as a total surprise to almost everyone is by design.
How this will all play out remains to be seen, but the odds are what is about to unfold will be biblical in scale. At a minimum, it appears that a historically unprecedented financial crisis may be in the making as the Eurozone comes apart.

Finally, let's not forget that popular culture is most likely mistaken in its notion that December 21, 2012 marks the end of the Mayan calendar. According to some experts, the calendar actually ends October 28th of this year, i.e., in a week's time:

As for the Elliott Wave count, a distinct five-wave pattern does appear to have developed between the early-May top and the October 4th low:
This wave count is already generally consistent with seasonality given a potentially important October low, but one still needs to remain alert as it is typically this late-October period after the full moon and into the new moon when historic panics occur.
Again, any such panic can take the form of a financial crisis and/or it can take the form of war. In this regard, I reviewed the two key historical examples today that I've been highlighting, i.e., the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab/Israeli War.
With regard to the October full and new moons in 1962 and 1973, we find the following:
October 14, 1962 - A U-2 flying over western Cuba discovers missile sites. Photographs obtained by this flight provide hard evidence that Soviets have missiles in Cuba.
October 24, 1962 - Soviet ships en route to Cuba with questionable cargo either slow down or reverse their course except for one. Military forces go to DEFCON 2 the highest ever in U.S. history.
October 11th, 1973 - Israel attacks Syria from its positions on the Golan Heights. The Soviet Union's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Dobrynin, tells U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that Soviet airborne forces are on the alert to defend Damascus. Kissinger warns Dobrynin that if the Soviets send troops to the Middle East, the United States would as well.
October 24th, 1973 - A second cease-fire is put into effect, but fighting continues between Egypt and Israel. As a result, the Soviet Union threatens the United States that it will send troops to support the Egyptians. The United States puts its nuclear forces on a higher alert. The Soviet Union withdraws its threat the following day.
Yesterday there was violence between NATO and Kosovo Serbs. I knew Moscow was up to something in the Balkans as I read in recent weeks how the border between south and north Kosovo was becoming a flashpoint, particularly in Mitrovica.
When I viewed news reports of yesterday's supposed firefight between NATO and Kosovo Serbs, I couldn't help but think what I was seeing was staged and largely fictitious:
Do we know that that smoke-screened video of a firefight was between NATO and Kosovo Serbs? Do we know that those hospital scenes are legitimate? Do we know that those shooting victims really have injuries from NATO bullets?
So what has been Russia's response to this instigated crisis?
So when World War Three comes, it's all our fault, of course, because the Western powers are 'imperialist warmongers' while Russia is a peace-loving victim of our aggression.
When I first read about yesterday's outbreak of violence between the Serbs and NATO in Kosovo, the first thing I checked was the current astrology charts. Why? One of the most blatant patterns of "Kremlin Astrology" that I've found is associated with key events in the Balkans, particularly when, for whatever reason, there are Venus-Jupiter conjunctions. While there was no Venus-Jupiter conjunction yesterday, what I did find is a Venus-Saturn conjunction today conjunct the new moon marking the the Jewish new year. What's more the Sun and Mercury are opposed by Uranus and squared by Pluto, i.e., a significant planetary alignment just occurred:

The Canary Islands Government has raised the alert level for the El Hierro volcano in the Canary Islands (Spain) to ‘Yellow’, the highest alert status since an unprecedented earthquake swarm commenced in mid-July.
Spanish seismologists, accompanied by the President of the Cabildo de El Hierro and the Minister of Security and Emergency Area, held a press conference on Sunday to reassure the 10,000 residents of the smallest of the Canary Islands that the raising of the alert level does not indicate that an eruption is imminent. They indicated, however, that the number of volcanic earthquakes detected beneath El Hierro continues to increase.

Speaking to the El Pais newspaper during the weekend, volcanologist Juan Carlos Carracedo suggested that an eruption on El Hierro would “not be a major surprise”.
He explained: “It is the youngest of the Canary Islands. There is a ball of magma which is rising to the surface and it is stationed at the limit of the earth’s crust. At the moment we do not know if that ball of magna will break the crust and cause an eruption.”

El Hierro is situated in the most southwestern extreme of the Canaries. The island was formed after three successive eruptions, and consequent accumulations, the island emerged from the ocean as an imposing triangular pyramid crowned by a volcano more than 2,000 metres high.
The volcanic activity, principally at the convergence of the three ridges, resulted in the continual expansion of the island. A mere 50,000 years ago, as a result of seismic tremors which produced massive landslides, a giant piece of the island cracked off, crashed down into the ocean and scattered along the seabed. This landslide of more than 300km3 gave rise to the impressive amphitheatre of the El Golfo valley and at the same time caused a tsunami that most likely rose over 100 metres high and probably reached as far as the American coast.
If there's ever news of a massive landslide in the Canary Islands, likely in association with a volcanic eruption, the entire U.S. East Coast will have about 6-8 hours to evacuate inland before a potential megatsunami hits which means a tidal wave possibly dozens of feet high. This is a little known natural disaster threat that is now becoming all too close for comfort as a volcanic eruption appears imminent on the El Hierro island that triggered a megatsunami ~50,000 years ago.
When at perigee, the moon is about 18,640 miles (30,000 kilometers) closer to Earth than its average distance of roughly 240,000 miles (385,000 kilometers). When perigee occurs during a full moon, the lunar disk can appear about 14 percent bigger in the sky, Samra said.
Tuesday's dark supermoon will be just 222,175 miles (357,557 kilometers) away from Earth.
Some people have speculated that this lunar proximity can have unusual gravitational effects on Earth, triggering dramatic events such as earthquakes.
But the truth is that there's only a very small correlation between full or new moons and seismic stresses, said Jim Todd, planetarium manager at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
"Stronger tidal forces caused by the alignment of the sun and moon may put added stress on tectonic plates," Todd said.
"However, seismologists have found no evidence connecting lunar perigees to heightened seismic activity. Instead the Earth constantly stores up energy and releases it any time the built-up energy becomes too great."

As has been highlighted in this blog over and over and over again, there are substantial reasons to believe that Vladimir Putin is being made more than just the head of a Russian autocracy.

On October 4, 1957 Russia became the first country to put a rocket ship into outer space. The rocket ship was named Sputnik. This great accomplishment advanced their idea of denouncing the existence of Jehovah God. While in space American listening devices overheard a transmission from the Russian orbiting space craft. What was heard is how they view the universe. They said, "Our rocket has bypassed the moon. It is nearing the sun. We have not discovered God. We have turned out the lights in heaven that no man will be able to put on again. We are breaking the yoke of the gospel, the opiate of the masses. Let us go forth, and Christ shall be relegated to mythology."

Oh well, on that last point one might note that tomorrow is the anniversary of 9/11 on the lunar-based Hewbrew calendar. Normally I would think this irrelevant, but the dramatic reversal in mass mood from the 4K mark on the Dow Jones Composite over the last two days has me concerned that some sort of historical shock is near. I've certainly been wrong before in this short-term expectation. Let's hope this is the case here as well.

Accordingly, I personally am giving the First Couple a pass on this one since the available information is inconclusive.

Here is an update to my August blog, The "Fall" Is Approaching, where I highlight the historical propensity for mass panics to develop in the autumn. This blog post is an extension of the insights expressed in my general thesis that man as a species is currently insane, i.e., suffering from a manic-depressive creative genius syndrome (it's a matter of efficient "creation" IMHO - related book). [For those immediately taken aback by my thesis, just consider how history is characterized by booms and busts, eras of prosperity and "feeling happy" like the Roaring Twenties followed by mass panics, financial busts and prolonged periods of economic contraction and "feeling sad" like the 1930s Great Depression. It should be straightforward to recognize the evident historical pattern of manic-depressive mass mood swings in human society.]
OCTOBER PANICS
My work is drawn from an award-winning 1998 article written by Chris Carolan, Autumn Panics: A Calendar Phenomenon, which points out the tendency for financial panics to climax into the 28th day of the 7th month on the annual lunar calendar:
I took Carolan's discovery a step further utilizing the lunar-based Hebrew calendar. What I found is the tendency is for mass panics to develop in between the full moon and new moon in the second half of the 7th month on the lunar calendar which is generally equivalent to the period between Tishrei 15 and Tishrei 30 on the Hebrew calendar (usually late-October on the Gregorian calendar). During this Hebrew calendar window, the following major "panics" took place:
Note that I've included in the list above the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and October 1973 Arab/Israeli Yom Kippur War since, while not reflected in major stock market crashes, these historical crises were still effectively mass panics. This was signified on both occasions by the fact that the highest DEFCON nuclear alerts ever were reached during these crises, actually peaking right into the same time frame of the 7th lunar month as when the stock market crashes in 1929 and 1987 climaxed.
Also note that the 1907 Banker's Panic climaxed into late October, but the Hebrew calendar has this occurring in the first half of Cheshvan, which is usually November on the Gregorian calendar. This highlights that the use of the Hebrew calendar is not entirely accurate but provides a decent way of assessing where one is in the annual lunar calendar most years.
SEPTEMBER PANICS
As an addendum to the above discovery, I'd like to note tonight that there is a secondary window for potential panics to consider in the 6th lunar month, which is usually equivalent to the month of September on the Gregorian calendar or the month of Elul on the Hebrew calendar.
In Chris Carolan's article, he notes that the Panic of 1873 erupted into the 27th and 28th day of the 6th lunar month in that year, which is around Elul 27 on the Hebrew calendar. If we apply the same logic that the maximum propensity for a mass panic to occur is between the full and new moon in the latter half of the 6th lunar month, then the relevant window on the Hebrew calendar is between Elul 15 and Elul 29 (Elul is a 29 day month). Using this time frame, we find the following historical panics of note:
Note that in all these cases, the collective panic in the Elul 15-29 time frame ended up persisting through the 7th lunar month and beyond. The Panic of 1873 kicked-off what became known as the Long Depression. Germany's invasion of Poland in 1939 was the beginning of years of terrible war around the world. The 9/11 attacks set off the War on Terror that continues across the globe today. The bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers was followed by a financial and economic collapse that persists to this day. Thus, while late-October, i.e., Tishrei 15-30, panics tend to be climactic, panics in the September window between Elul 15-29 on the Hebrew calendar are characteristically triggers for what proves to be extended waves of mass fear and depression.
CURRENT JUNCTURE
The Harvest Moon rises over Healdsburg, California Monday night
As for 2011, we just passed the Harvest full moon Monday night and are now into the Elul 15-30 window which is equivalent to September 14 to 28 this year. Thus, we are now in a window, in terms of both monthly and annual seasonality, when man as a species is prone to suffer acute panic events. The October window, which is more apt to see a panic climax, runs from October 13 to 28 on the Gregorian calendar (October 23-24 is the equivalent to the 27th and 28th days of the 7th lunar month that marked the "black days" of the 1929 and 1987 stock market crashes).
Quite frankly, if the financial system and economy were all we had to worry about in the days and weeks ahead, I personally would be somewhat relieved. Economic strife is difficult but survivable. The real problem here is that I've foreseen World War Three.
While a second Great Depression could account for such a deflationary collapse in mass mood, it is difficult to fathom this is all that's coming our way according to the Wave Principle.
Keep in mind that the last Supercycle bear market from 1929 to 1942 involved the Great Depression with the first wave down and then World War Two on the second wave down of the A-B-C patterned breakdown. Indeed, as overviewed in my August blog, market patterns indicate we are now entering the second major wave down when major wars typically erupt.
I believe such a conflict, should it come, is what I foresaw 20 years ago and is what the Bible predicts in prophecies like found in Ezekiel 38-39 and the Book of Revelation.

As an aside, one might note that the whole December 21st, 2012 doomsayers crowd is likely using the wrong date in terms of when the Mayan calendar ends. The correct date, according to many experts, is October 28, 2011:
Given that the end of October also entails the highest potential for a panic climax, one can't help but wonder whether or not civilization is about to self-destruct.
Quite frankly, I'll be most thankful this Thanksgiving if I can share it with family and friends in a society still intact. (BTW....in light of Harold Camping's latest take for the 'End of the World' on October 21st, I'm somewhat hopeful. I can't imagine he'd ever be right. Of course, what's really underway is the 'End of the Age' which is significantly different than what Christians have in mind with the 'rapture' and all such self-important nonsense.)
